someone opened 50K which is a much larger sample size https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/91lc1x/50_000_zephyrite_zupply_box_opening_and_numbers/ --Life Infusion «T» 22:27, 26 July 2018 (UTC)

TP totals[edit]

Added Template:Tp total placeholder to calculate the material sum prices, but when I try to order the table by it, it doesn't seem to order them properly. Any idea how to fix it? -- kazerniel (talk) 18:30, 25 July 2018 (UTC)

{{tp total calculate}} is required in my experience --Life Infusion «T» 18:37, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
Taken from User talk:Relyk from last summer: "The table has no way to sort the output of {{tp total placeholder}}. The template isn't made for tables, you probably have to go up to the row level or table level to add the sort information. The total is calculated at [[Widget:TP prices total]] and the widget updates the sort value. Looks like Alex has the widget loop through 'tpprice' elements and update the elements with the total as the sort value. The {{tp total placeholder}} template only has 'tpwrapper' for the class so the widget can calculate total TP cost. You will need to check User:Chieftain Alex as he has a better idea on what the widget needs.
The best solution would be to update the sort values once all the 'tpwrapper' and 'tpprice' elements have been processed."
So I guess it is still not possible. --Tolkyria (talk) 18:57, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the info :) I guess we just have to eyeball it then. -- kazerniel (talk) 19:01, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
I pinged User:Chieftain Alex, maybe he can help us. --Tolkyria (talk) 19:03, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
Fixed I think. My hidden debugging code was breaking stuff (e.g. it was sorting 100 Silver, then 80 Gold, then 60 Gossamer) -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:11, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
Thanks, I was actually afraid it would be more work :) --Tolkyria (talk) 19:47, 25 July 2018 (UTC)

Since the trades are for multiples of each mat, is the TP price shown for 1 of that mat or for the multiple shown? I suspect that the Jute cost isn't that high so it is for the 25 Jute, but it would be nice if it said so. I could look at the TP to find out but that would defeat the point of this table. Thanks.--Justaplayer (talk) 14:20, 28 July 2018 (UTC)

For multiples, it states so to the left of the item e.g. 25 Jute Scraps. Jute jumped up a bit, actually, so they're now Silver coin 37 Copper coin each. —Ventriloquist 18:51, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
Plus the table headers do say that the amounts are total prices. -- kazerniel (talk) 10:56, 1 August 2018 (UTC)

Not accurate, or extremely bad luck?[edit]

I've opened a few dozen of these this time around, and I have never received anything other than tokens (1-4) and crystals (1-2). Am I just unlucky, or are the tables from the old festivals? Daddicus (talk) 23:49, 7 August 2018 (UTC)

This box is completely new for this festival and no old tables were used, so you are probably just very unlucky (bless RNGjesus). Sime (talk) 00:23, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
Your sample size probably isn't large enough. Even my 100 box sample size isn't large enough. The person with 10K to 50K boxes has a large enough sample size to possibly account for < 0.1% chances. 1% chance is 1 in 100 (rare likely will be higher than this) ; 0.1% chance is 1 in 1000. I'll be opening some more from WvW reward tracks, but I wouldn't recommend outright buying these boxes. --Life Infusion «T» 15:08, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw the 50k reference after posting this. It does indicate that these are particularly onerous on the cost-effectiveness front. But, I am willing to spend blade shards on it, since I have no other use for them. Thanks! Daddicus (talk) 23:10, 10 August 2018 (UTC)

drop table changed[edit]

Noticed Super rare changed a bit:

  • Removed Lightward's Battlehammer, Ley Guard's Revolver, Ley Guard's Protector, Ebb, Flow, and Mordrem Warblade.
  • Added Mini Molten Firestorm, Scarlet's Rainbow 173.187.213.27 17:12, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

Template edit troubles, again[edit]

I want to edit the table for the Zephyr Supply Box traders, but I can't find the proper template page that houses the table. I get as far as as this but no table there. --Disconnect (talk) 17:38, 2 August 2022 (UTC)

You have to edit the Trader page under Items offered. By the way, it is not necessary to join but our discord is great for quick help :) ~Sime 17:44, 2 August 2022 (UTC)

Only trade with what you have.[edit]

It's not worth buying thousands of basic crafting materials compared to how low the drop rate is, not to mention that when something from the super rare section drops it is one of the cheapest like "Antique summoning stone" or "Monocle". So the only way you have a chance without spending all your money is saving throughout the year to max storage and fill all bank tabs with lowest price materials like hardened leather and rugged leather section.
