Discord is a free gaming-focused platform that offers persistent text chat and Voice over IP (VoIP) communications. Users register a central Discord account and can then use their web, desktop, or mobile apps to join any number of servers and chat with other players.
There is no official Discord or other voice channel for Guild Wars 2. For those who wish to meet like-minded fans, the wiki provides a list of Discord channels that have been determined to be popular, highly publicized, or otherwise considered by the community to be very useful.

- Most WvW worlds have their own Discord (and often TeamSpeak or Mumble for more stable connections for larger groups). Try asking in team chat in WvW for your world's Discord server.
- Several popular meta-event guilds also use Discord, including those specializing in Dry Top, world bosses, challenging metas (e.g. Triple Trouble), full runs across Tyria, etc.
The Wiki's Discord
- For questions not related to the wiki, please use one of the discord servers above.
- Please note that channels on the wiki discord server are not meant as stand-ins for the wiki's talk pages, and wiki-related conversations on discord may be pasted onto talk pages for archival purposes. We do encourage people to use our Community portal, Ask a wiki question, and Report a wiki bug pages.
Criteria for inclusion
This page lists only notable servers, i.e. those that meet one or more of the criteria below.
- Has been strongly recommended by members of this wiki's community.
- The page has been suggested on the talk page.
- The community has expressed consensus that the server is worth adding to the main list.
- The community continues to find that the server is active, maintained, and relevant for inclusion.
- Has been highlighted by ArenaNet for its purpose or activities related to Guild Wars 2.
Other considerations
- Each server listed must have a dedicated Guild Wars 2 section.
- We do not link to any guild servers per se. We do link to them, however, if they prove useful for the community as a whole.
- We do not include every possible server, because there is not much value to the community in presenting a long, unstructured/unvetted list.
- Linked servers must also remain up-to-date.
