Talk:Mad King's Labyrinth
From what I've been reading, the chests from Champion mobs now have a 24-hour cooldown timer. Is this true? --Xcelsior 02:35, 28 October 2012 (PDT)
- Seems so. Konig/talk 02:52, 28 October 2012 (PDT)
- Chest spawns after the champion is defeated and will be avaible for everyone a x amount of time. U don't need to help kill the boss to open the chest. The chest is an once a 24hours but this only counts for the charracter u opened with so if u switch to an alt he/she can open it to. --Draaky 03:17, 28 October 2012 (PDT)
- It seems like only 2 champions around, the Champion Family-Sized Candy Corn Elemental and Champion Skeleton, and defeating these foes will yield a chest that can be open once per character with 24-hour cooldown timer in your account. Paladinofmm 18:28, 28 October 2012 (PDT)
- Both Champion events spawned a Glorious Chest. I have screenshots of both as proof. Changing the page accordingly. NeXx26 08:34, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
- Okay, what's not clear is the GOAL here. What do you aim to accomplish when you go there, and what rewards do you get for doing it? --OBloodyHell (talk) 11:54, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
- killing the bosses (champs & legendaries) ticks off a few ach for the meta, and there's a reliable source of candy nodes for mining, assuming you feel like grinding for the special items that need ~10k candy each :P --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 17:45, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

How do you get the northwest waypoint in the Labyrinth?[edit]
Is it even possible? --175.140.216.133 18:18, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
- It is possible with the Griffon mount. udas 03:27, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
- To get there with the Griffon mount, enter the Labyrinth, turn around and to the east of the Northeastern Waypoint, there is a high rocky place. Use the Springer mount to get up on top of there, then fly your Griffon directly west over to the Northwestern Waypoint. --Evilsofa (talk) 14:50, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
- Go to Kessex Hills or Gendarran Fields and enter a Bloody Prince Haunted Door (purple doors). That western isle/waypoint is a remnant from 2013/2014 which became redundant in 2015 as before 2015 doors to Mad King's Labyrinth, Clocktower, and Ascent to Madness weren't in LA. Konig (talk) 03:33, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
- Last night I did 10 different events at purple doors in Gendarran and each time the event ended, the door closed immediately. I even tried standing in the door and mashing F all through the event and into the last blow of the last enemy; no dice. Each time the event ended, it vanished. Perrsun (talk) 14:03, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
- There are standing doors in LA that pop-up in various locations. The doors you're looking for in open world are the ones that only drop Trick or Treat bags, and don't spawn an event.--Rain Spell (talk) 17:29, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
- If you use the Boatmaster to go to the Raceway, then use the Labyrinth door there, it will take you to the Northwest Waypoint. I don't know if Free To Play accounts can go to the Raceway, but if so, then this will be by far the simplest and easiest way for everyone to get that waypoint and should go into the article. --Evilsofa (talk) 01:59, 24 October 2018 (UTC)

- Yep, we have it: Heart of Thorn by Snargle Goldclaw. However, you are correct in that it has been missing from the article. Good catch, added. ~Sime 23:54, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Enemies hostile to each other[edit]
Yesterday I came across a group of enemies fighting each other. (Didn't stick around to see exactly who were fighting whom.) -- kazerniel (talk | contribs) 10:55, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
- Yep, there are two factions: Lunatic Court and the Rebels, as added with the notes. It's been known for a long time they will fight each other but we could specify it in the notes. ~Sime 14:22, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
