the red lady is probably livia --67.169.9.103 00:21, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- It's a speculation right now, but when I heard "red lady" I immediately thought of her - doesn't matter she doesn't wear red anymore, she has red hair - I was in school sometimes also called "red girl" because of my hair color. We will see.Sime (talk) 00:22, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- My guess? Nameless Lich. –Santax (talk · contribs) 00:35, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- The first thing that popped into my head was "Scarlet Briar" and that it was just some object that nobody documented but had been there for awhile similar to Merchant's Corpse (which I had pictures of from this past summer but never got around to documenting =x). However seeing as how there seems to be more then one, I'd wager it's an NPC we've not yet met. - Doodleplex 02:09, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- It's notable that the bodies appear to have been killed by skeletons. Who are skeletons aligned with? The Bloody Prince. Who wears enough make-up to be mistaken for a lady? The Bloody Prince. Whose name has the letters "D" and "S" in it if you're bad at spelling like a guy trapped in a box for hundreds of years probably would be? The blodee Prins. All the pieces fit, you guys. --Idris (talk) 06:56, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- GW2 skeletons are associated with the Bloody Prince (looks like the Mysterious Skeletons were copied and pasted from him, actually), but you know who else has skeleton minions? –Santax (talk · contribs) 07:46, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- Someone who may be in the underworld... who would have been able to merge the Skeletal army and the Shadow army into one... ? Who do we know that lives in the underworld or is dead, that wears red, and is behind strange alliances? Dead Scarlet. With the help of the aetherblades she sent ahead to the Mists with Mai Trin leading them to prepare for 'something big'. Mith🌟Talk 18:42, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
- I'm thinking the new raid wing holds our answer. The premise mirrors what we know about these bodies. SarielV 03:31, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
For reference: the ax "typo" is not a typo[edit]
Just putting this here since I keep seeing edits or references to this elsewhere. "Ax" is indeed a valid spelling of axe, it's just not what the rest of the game uses. The text for the body does actually say "ax". It's not a typo. We built the link in the text to point it to axe to avoid having to use a redirect since the rest of the game uses Axe for the spelling. Consistency would be great, but everything is fine. :) Vahkris (talk) 14:30, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- I added some {{sic}} tags to the article. --Idris (talk) 14:39, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- Missed this before removing the sic tags, so my apologies. I don't think it warrants a sic tag tbh, I wouldn't even consider it an error. The fact that 'ax' is predominantly used in America (well, at least Google states so) is a reason enough to not use a sic tag, since the game does use American English spellings and words. —Ventriloquist 17:29, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
- Like Vahkris said though, it's not the spelling the game normally uses. --Idris (talk) 05:45, 16 November 2017 (UTC)
- What if we stuck an anomaly tag at the bottom since, while it's not spelled wrong persay, that's not the spelling used predominately in the game? - Doodleplex 04:30, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
- Even with the anomaly I think it'd need a sic anyway because it's still not normally how they spell it and most would think it's a typo, given that the official spelling of the weapon category is axe --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 04:35, 29 November 2017 (UTC)

So, do we now know what "DS" stands for?[edit]
I noticed that there's still no hyperlink for this acronym in the article. --175.140.149.143 08:38, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
- Only reference I saw was an NPC in the intro area. A lone, non-relevant Stranded Ghost has dialogue, which just describes him as silent but with the initials "DS" stitched into its clothing (iirc it was stitched into clothing?) Doesn't seem to be on wiki yet - a lot of Hall of Chains stuff is lacking. Konig (talk) 09:04, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
Do you have a screenshot of his location (including minimap)? I'm assuming you don't have to beat Soulless Horror to speak to this NPC since he's in the starting area? --175.140.149.143 13:36, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
