Dialogue[edit]

Oh, a visitor! We haven't gotten that many lately. No one reads anymore. What are they teaching their kids? I'm Addisu, by the way, head librarian for the Order.
Talk more option tango.png The Order has a librarian?
Someone had to keep track of all these books. What you see here is only a fraction of our collection. We have thousands of volumes. Many are hundreds of years old.
Talk more option tango.png Why do you collect so many?
Well, Palawa Joko has a habit of destroying anything that contradicts his official propaganda. We're trying to preserve the knowledge and history of Elona and Vabbi.

In a way. When Joko is finally defeated, these books will help us rebuild our society. We will step into our future armed with the wisdom of our past.

Talk end option tango.png Your optimism is refreshing.
Talk end option tango.png Keep up the good work.
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png I'll have to come back and see it later.
Talk more option tango.png Anything good I could borrow?
(The second dialogue option will trigger a random answer among the ones listed here)
Are you looking for a new pet? May I suggest "The Joys of Junundu : trapping and Taming There Misunderstood Creatures"? I found it quite helpful!
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png I'll stick with the raptor, thanks.
I've got all seventeen volumes of "The Complete Lore of Tyria", if you're interested.
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png I would, but I don't own a bookshelf.
How about, "The Value of Loyalty" by Imperial Bodyguard Shiro Tagashi? Hmm, maybe not.
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png I think I'm better off without it.
For a light, easy read, I recommend "A Treatise on the Life and Mating Habits of the Common Sand Eel, Vol. 3." The other two are checked out. We can't keep them on the shelves!
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png Sounds fascinating, but no thanks.
Here's "Lonely Tyria: Traveler's Guide to the Crystal Desert." It's the 1074 AE edition, though.
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png I think a few things have changed since then.
We did just acquire the latest volume of "The True History of Elona : Revised Edition", by Palawa Joko. I keep it in the "Morbid Humor" section.
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png That's not my style of humor.
We have the complete "Unending Quest of Heroes" series, though if you haven't started them yet, I wouldn't. the author died before he could finish it. Terrible cliffhanger.
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png I hate when that happens.
How about this old favorite? "the Gods Are Always Watching you." For some reason, no one checks it out anymore.
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png I wonder why.
Well, we have a new one, just in from some traveling Priory scholars out of Central Tyria : "Trahearne : Selfless Hero or History's Biggest Thief?" I haven't read it yet.
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png Thanks but no thanks.
Do you cook? We've got "The Aromatic Kitchen Presents : How to Cook Sulfurous Ooze." Very popular.
Talk back option tango.png Can I ask about something else?
Talk end option tango.png I just lost my appetite. Forever.
Talk end option tango.png I was just stopping by.
