Dialogue[edit]

Welcome to Deverol Island. What brings you all the way out here?
Talk more option tango.png I'm just out exploring. What is this place?
This island is my home. It's been in my family since 1244, when my grandfather purchased it during the settling of Lion's Arch.
Talk more option tango.png He bought the entire island?
When Grandaddy Cobiah and his contemporaries reclaimed Lion's Arch, this was just a slab of rock jutting from a flooded bay. He got it for almost nothing, and folks still thought he was crazy.
Talk more option tango.png What do you do?
The Deverols have been seafarers for as long as anyone can remember. Me, I prefer to stand on things that don't pitch and sway. So, my brother runs the family business, and I maintain the homestead.
Talk end option tango.png Sounds smart. Good-bye.
Talk end option tango.png Guess he got the last laugh. Good-bye.
Talk end option tango.png Thanks, that's all I wanted to know.
(If in Order of Whispers)
Talk more option tango.png I'm traveling heretofore untraveled pathways.
Then you're bound to discover heretofore undiscovered treasure. Hello, <Character name>. My contacts informed me that you might be stopping by. I have a message for you.
Talk more option tango.png I'm listening.
There are powerful forces at work in the city, and they're not all immediately obvious. Trust no on, and keep your eyes open for shifting political currents.
Talk more option tango.png Can you be more specific?
The council is in a constant state of flux. Its members will do anything to hold their positions, and some who want to be members will do anything to get there. And then, there's the Lionguard.
Talk more option tango.png What's up with the Lionguard?
They're under great pressure. So far, they've managed to stay out of the war against the centaurs. Many believe they're wrong to do so, despite the imminent threat from Orr.
Talk more option tango.png What do you mean? Is Lion's Arch in danger?
As the tide of undead creeps closer, they're beginning to leak into our water. It won't be long before Lion's Arch will have to defend itself from a full-on assault, I predict.
Talk end option tango.png Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
Talk end option tango.png I see. Good to know.
Talk end option tango.png Right. I'll stay alert.
Talk end option tango.png Don't worry. My eyes are wide open.
Talk end option tango.png Some other time. I have affairs to attend to.
Talk end option tango.png Just doing a little wandering and taking in the sights, thanks.
