- Jade Brother Myung: Oh, big talk from someone who needs dead people to fight their battles.
- Jade Brother Myung: Shh! There she is.
- Speaker Hyun: I can't believe I'm doing this—
- Shrine Guardian: Approach.
- Speaker Hyun: O great spirit guardian, please accept this fish as a humble offering.
- Jade Brother Myung: And I present you with this slightly larger, more delicious fish—
- Shrine Guardian: Do I look like a giant cat to you?
- Jade Brother Myung: No...
- Shrine Guardian: Then why poison me with stinking fish?
- Shrine Guardian: Why are you here? The Speakers and Jade Brotherhood are sworn enemies.
- Speaker Hyun: Void threatens everything. We have to ally, and we need your help.
- Shrine Guardian: Brave words. Or perhaps foolish. A challenge may enlighten us.
- Ghostly Kurzick Hero: Kurzicks, arise!
- Ghostly Luxon Hero: Luxons, rise from your graves! Show them the valor they aspire to.
- Shrine Guardian: Quell past disagreements and fight as one, for it is the only way you will prove victorious.
- During the first wave of ghosts
- One of the following:
- Ghostly Luxon Hero: You are too trusting of each other. It will be your downfall.
- Ghostly Kurzick Hero: You are sworn enemies. Best not turn your backs on each other.
- During the second wave of ghosts
- Ghostly Luxon Hero: Luxon spirits, rise from the Mists and come forth.
- Ghostly Kurzick Hero: Kurzicks of old, in death you will be victorious once more. Attack!
- After defeating all ghosts
- Ghostly Luxon Hero: You fared well, but this is not over.
- Ghostly Kurzick Hero: Now we alone will test the folly of your petty alliance.
- When an ally is downed
- One of the following:
- Shrine Guardian: Help them now, or your victory could be in jeopardy.
- Shrine Guardian: Some of your party have fallen. See to them now so you have greater numbers.
- Event success
- Ghostly Luxon Hero: The test is complete.
- Ghostly Kurzick Hero: Your courageous union has shown the strength of your conviction.
- Shrine Guardian: And apart from your misguided choice of fish, you have proven yourself worthy.
- Shrine Guardian: As a reward, I will— Void! I sense its deathly grasp. Come, we must stop it before we're overrun!
- Speaker Hyun: We will fight by your side, guardian. To the death!
- Event failure
- Shrine Guardian: Heroes of old, what say you?
- Ghostly Luxon Hero: They fought valiantly against the ghost armies.
- Ghostly Kurzick Hero: But alas, they were no match for us.
- Shrine Guardian: You could not handle the onslaught as one. Regroup and try again when you are up to the challenge.
- Jade Brother Myung: Fighting dead warriors... Not the easiest thing in the world.
- Speaker Hyun: We need rest. Then we'll be ready for another attempt.
