When I first began learning, a statement like, "This is a new kind of ice!" would have seemed a jest. But...here we are.

So it's not normal ice magic?

A dragon working in its innate element treads well beyond normalcy. Even then—not to romanticize it—this is a masterwork. Absolute preservation to counter total destruction.

Can it be undone?

It's already "melting" over time, to use the best word available. To hasten that, we will need a greater understanding of its origin—the sculptor's signature, if you will.
