Windall is an asuran scientist found in Rata Novus. He was later part of a krewe who went and established an outpost in Ember Bay in 1329 AE. He was one of the only survivors of the Destroyer attack on said outpost, and informed Taimi that the Destroyers which the krewe had encountered in Ember Bay had changed.
