King Joko exiled us to work in the fields until we died, but Mom says we deserve better. Since she got me out, she's been trying to help our friends get past the Mordant Crescent and escape north.

Olishar says they were Sunspears like him once, but now they do the king's dirty work. Guess that includes killing our friends if they try to run...

I met her. She's brave, to put herself in harm's way for your people. (after starting Flowers for Jimoh)

Wish we could run away from here forever, but Mom says none of us are free until all of us are. Guess she's right, but it's hard sometimes. And even out here, I have to hide from the Mordant Crescent.

Why doesn't your mom send you on to First Camp with the others?

She tried, but I wouldn't go without her. This way I get to see her now and then, when she's running more of our friends past here.

You'll find Mom near Palawa's Grace, convicing other exiles to let her help them escape north, to First Camp. I only ever see her when she runs past here with them.
