Mount Maelstrom is no place for idle wandering, friend. There's much darkness here. I'm not the first Valiant to be called to this place.

You're on a Wyld Hunt? What's going on up here?

The Nightmare Court have a presence here. Not content to blight the Pale Tree and The Grove, their dark ambitions have called them here for new targets. I was called here to deal with their threat.

What danger will I face here?

The Nightmare Court holds a camp just west of here. They've been attempting to corrupt any sylvari they can find. Anything else they find, they kill. Be careful.

Anything else?

There are some irritable asura to the south. Inquest, I think they said. They wanted "volunteers" for their experiments. When we denied them, they called us what I'm sure they considered unpleasant names.
