Vaastas Meatslayer is a merchant who can be found just inside the south entrance of the Village of Butcher's Block in the Diessa Plateau. After the Help Kiboz Rapideater herd cattle to Butcher's Block event has been completed, Vaastas will slaughter the three cows, after which he becomes a merchant.

Where are they coming from?

From Bovarin Estate—a cattle ranch just south of here. If you can get 'em here in one piece, I'll cut you off a big honkin' chunk of meat.

Have you tried it? I'd rather eat the hairy hide of a Bovarin cow than the meat from the cattle around here. It's a crime what they do to cows.

Bovarin Estate?

It's a cattle ranch south of here. I don't know what their secret is, but their beef tastes fantastic. It's so good, it could turn a rabbit into a meat-eater.

• Players can acquire both Cut of Quality Red Meat (collection) and Slab of Poultry Meat (collection) for Gourmet Training by hunting the Stag and Crimson Moa (respectively) just north-east of the Village of Butcher's Block up towards  Bloodcliff Waypoint — .
• Southeast from  Bloodcliff Waypoint — , the Warg will also drop a Cut of Quality Red Meat.
• The Legendary Bloodstone-Crazed Moa will drop a Slab of Poultry Meat if it chances to spawn.
