From what I've heard, legendaries are (obviously) not included, I'm assuming weapons crafted in the MF (such as The Anomaly) are excluded as well.

For Armor/Weapon skins the description states a limit on rarity. With exceptions I meant things that don't fit the "rules", such as the wurm trio minis apparently not being available despite being a gemstore item, or Mini Horrik being available. Tyndel (talk) 22:32, 1 November 2016 (UTC)

This doesn't unlock everything everything, just a ton of things. For example, doesn't have dungeon exotics - or any exotic as far as I'm aware - and will not include new skins in the future. I'd suggest sub-pages for each group, and list sets rather than individuals when applicable. Either way, a list is a good thing to have. Konig (talk) 01:34, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

I've added gliders, outfits, minis, and "others" (finishers/mail carriers). There is no real consistency that I'm seeing, truth be told, other than avoiding ascended/legendary rarities. If there's a set, then the whole set is added, but which sets do or which individuals do or don't seems inconsist. For example, we have some Halloween vendor minis (Bloody Prince, Ghost Carlotta) but not all (Gwynefrydd, Zuzu), and while we have the crafted and drop wintersday minis, we don't have the drop Halloween minis like the Hell Dog. I think for sake of length, sub-pages and/or linking sets instead of every individual would be best. I'd do dyes and gear skins but honestly those lists are loooong. Rarity needs to be Rare or lower, so no exotics, ascended or legendaries. This leads to some confusion for skins. Skins (unlocks, not consumables) themselves have a rarity (probably 85% are basic), while the items they are attached to have a rarity that may or may not match. Why are the Super Adventure Box skins not part of the unlocks?

They aren't available as unlocks. The Kaiser Snake weapons are ascended and might get disqualified on that basis. The rest fit. ANet decided to not allow them. Who knows why? SarielV 06:37, 5 January 2017 (UTC)

Access to HoT skins without HoT

Can't check myself since I have HoT, but are gliders an option in the Unlock preview for those who don't have HoT? Also since Chak weapons, Broken Caladbolg, the Practical/Intricate Scribe's Backpack, and the first stage of the Order's backpacks are rares that were released before Sept. 2016, do they show up as well? - Do_odleplex 18:21, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

Widget thing

Similar to the cats API, I made [[Widget:Guaranteed Wardrobe Unlock]] a few weeks ago. It's not anywhere near as useful as http://immortius.net.au/guaranteed-wardrobe-unlock but it works. -Chieftain Alex 06:32, 21 June 2017 (UTC)

Maybe after the acquisition method "Anniversary Backpack and Weapon Pack Combo" it can say "1 PER ACCOUNT" or something so people won't think they should get an unlock for each character. --Justaplayer (talk) 14:06, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

Note, however, that the Anniversary Backpack and Weapon Pack Combo is also once per account (so far). It's not something to be expected multiple times like Fifth Birthday Gift. -- Dashface

Unlocks template

Switching to Skins

So I noticed in the preview window that the finishers, weapons, and armors that are unlocked are definitely not the objects, but the skins for the objects(or in the case of the finishers, just the finishers, not the permanent version. Ie it says it unlocks "Ghastly Grinning Shield" not "Ghastly Grinning Shield Skin" or as you see in the picture, the finisher is unlocked, not the Permanant finisher. I would like to switch it from using the consumables to the wardrobe page/Skin page if it is currently doing so(since there actually are some pages that use the skin and not the consumable page) as that is what happens in game and to say it gives players the consumable would be inaccurate. Feedback 2024/09/12

The unlocks were updated in September. Some thing seem to have been removed (e.g. Charged Stormcaller weapons). The update also seems to have broken the API - things are seemingly randomly showing up as 0 gold on the TP when they are available, and things that are not purchaseable at all for gold are also appearing as available. --24.136.13.167 13:02, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
