Having a page with a "+" sign in the title is going to cause problems. Anyone know what happens if you put a redirect on a page which can't be accessed (directing to a page title without a plus sign in the title)? -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 16:55, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

It woiks. Psycho Robot (talk) 17:02, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Oh, I misread that. But at least what I did do works. Psycho Robot (talk) 17:03, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
(conflict)Plus, the page can be edited from the redirect page, since it uses the full-url syntax. 75.37.19.137 17:04, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Ok I tested it. No dice. delete this garbage. Psycho Robot (talk) 17:07, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
It's being fixed. It will work later Alex. +1 Agony Infusion problem--W.Wolf (talk) 17:16, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
If I can just jump in and point out that 50% crafting booster has the same annoying error. --Ventriloquist (talk) 23:15, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Nothing new here - gww:Guild Wars Wiki:Reporting wiki bugs - all three bugs are the same as this lol. surprised it hasn't been reported on the gw2w version tbh. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 23:42, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Lost the hope to be fixed with that link you showed :/ --W.Wolf (talk) 00:46, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Drop rates[edit]

Any stats on the drop rates of the +1 Agony Infusion? I thought they dropped 1 by 1 in each chest until I got 2 in a same chest on Saturday and 3 in a single chest on Sunday. Can they drop by larger numbers? 80.78.0.37 10:31, 2 December 2013 (UTC)

+ sign problems[edit]

moved from +1 Agony Infusion

The wiki seems to have some problems with the plus sign at the start of the page name; I've gotten 404 errors when trying to link to it (click here: +1 Agony Infusion) and just now when committing an edit to the page (though the edit still went through). Perhaps we should consider a different page name. --Felbryn (talk) 19:44, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Psycho Robot (talk) 19:50, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Anet is working on it. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 21:51, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Issue has been resolved - '+' is now a usable character in short URLs for the GW wikis. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 00:26, 7 December 2013 (UTC)

Move to Agony Infusion[edit]

moved from +1 Agony Infusion

Now that the bug with this page is fixed, I think we should move it anyways. The guy what put up the move notice originally has it right. Its not like we're going to have +2, +3, +4, +5 etc. pages, after all. Psycho Robot (talk) 03:39, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

why not having +2, +3 pages? ^^ --W.Wolf (talk) 03:47, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
The information would be basically identical from 1-20 and even higher if that's possible. Psycho Robot (talk) 03:49, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
I think it's better to split pages, a page talking about Agony Infusion basically almost all the information that we have in this page and a +1 agony infusion page with the item infobox, acquisition and recipes, no? --W.Wolf (talk) 04:01, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make a +1 page with the infobox and recipe for +2 infusion, then consequently you'd have to make a +2 page with the infobox and the recipe for +3 infusions. With subobjects its no longer necessary to have a page with an infobox for each item. I'm sure that the recipe data can be put in some alternate format on one page as well. Psycho Robot (talk) 04:10, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
At least make a redirect from +1 Agony Infusion to Agony Infusion, so when players use in ingame chat "/wiki +1 Agony Infusion" redirects them to the agony infusion page. --W.Wolf (talk) 04:16, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
Redirects are fine. Also with subobjects set up properly, /wiki [+1 Agony Infusion] would take them to the Agony Infusion page. Psycho Robot (talk) 04:22, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
We still need a recipe subobject for each item :/--Relyk ~ talk < 05:06, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
That doesn't sound too difficult. We could rejigger the recipe template to have 20ish sub objects and to have that data presented in a table instead of in a recipe sheet/box. Psycho Robot (talk) 05:26, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
I agree it should be moved, too. Pointless to have so many duplicates where only one number changes.--Lon-ami (talk) 13:56, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
moved. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 22:10, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

maximum[edit]

I had heard that the +n Agony Infusions actually do max out at some amount, so there would be a limit - it's not "infinite". It's far beyond the capability of anyone to test though, unless they had hundreds of thousands of gold. (probably millions when you add in the cost of buying the +1 infusions) Vili 点 User talk:Vili 16:31, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

well the API only has recipes upto +16, so whilst I might have previously assumed that the limit was +16, its at least 16 :p -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 16:58, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
When they were first introduced, the item API listed them up to 30, that's why the table on the page goes to 30. Now, it's like Alex said - item and recipe APIs only list them to 16. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 17:11, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
There are no entries on the trading post of Agony Infusions above I think either +13 or +14, so I think it would probably make sense to trim the table at +16. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 21:21, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
Due to the exponential growth of the material cost, the cost of thermocatalytic reagents alone will eventually exceed the total amount of gold that will ever be produced in this game. So there will always be a limit (+30 would cost millions of gold). The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.114.47.98 (talk) at 17:39, 20 June 2014 (UTC).
A +28 Agony Infusion just showed up in the API: [1]Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 13:52, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
Even though the items exist in code, it would be impossible to craft a +30 infusion anyways, since the number of reagents you would need would require you to have hundreds of thousands of bag spaces; which is obviously impossible. --73.136.47.60 23:32, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
This is incorrect. Each upgrade only requires 2 of the current infusion and 1 Thermocatalytic Reagent. A +30 would require you to have 2 +29's, and 1 reagent. The numbers displayed are the total required across all levels, and not the amount required to make the current level. Eg: Crafting a +4 Agony Infusion only requires 1 Reagent. Account Bound[edit]

So, the +5 infusion is infused. Hmm, any idea why?71.230.228.13 02:04, 6 August 2014 (UTC)

Its mat for a new backpiece. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 92.225.182.169 (talk) at 01:06, 16 September 2014 (UTC).

Bug equipping Crafted Agony Infusion?[edit]

So my self and other guild mates tried equipping crafted Agony Infusion and we are all getting the same thing, the ascended armor (with nothing else in it) goes red. Can anyone help on why this is happening? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Queenbee17 (talk) at 00:46, 23 June 2015 (UTC).

"...can be added to the agony infusion slot of any infused ascended rings or backpieces..." Armor has a defensive infusion slot and cannot hold agony infusions. If you want agony resist on your armor you need to craft some of the defensive or versatile ones listed here. Tyndel (talk) 00:56, 23 June 2015 (UTC)

Split[edit]

I was getting annoyed at the broken recipe queries on +5 Agony Infusion, so I went ahead and split all the infusions up to +15. I have then converted this page to a generic overview of Agony Infusion upgrades -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 09:07, 22 July 2015 (UTC)
