Shattered Caladbolg is the broken remains of Caladbolg, a legendary living weapon created from a thorn of the Pale Tree, found in the chasm under the Heart of Thorns after defeating Mordremoth in the Dream of Dreams. The Pact Commander uses it to end the misery of Trahearne, and by doing so ultimately kill Mordremoth hidden inside Trahearne's mind.

• After finishing the chapter, players are awarded with Broken Caladbolg, which is one-handed sword, when Shattered Caladbolg seems to still be two-handed greatsword, like the original Caladbolg.
