Preparations are three meta events to prepare Dragon's End for the battle to subdue Soo-Won. Complete events to increase the map's readiness level and to gain stacks of Dragon's End Contributor.

The Dragon's End Contributor effect grants boons (stacking with intensity) and each stack also awards a bonus chest after the final battle, to a maximum of 10 stacks. The events may occur at any readiness level and may reoccur multiple times. Additional events during The Battle for the Jade Sea can also grant up to 5 stacks or refresh existing ones if the cap of 10 stacks has already been reached during the preparations.

When a map has reached high readiness in all three regions players on the map will gain Nourishment utility.png +5% Damage vs Dragonvoid.

A fresh Dragon's End map starts in the Preparations phase. This means that overflow maps created during the normal time block for The Battle for the Jade Sea, or maps that fail The Battle for the Jade Sea and close/reset, will end up in a preparation state earlier than the event timer might suggest.

Dialogue[edit]

10 minutes remaining, high readiness
(if in north) Caithe: The great march southward is about to start, and it looks like your current region is fully prepared.
(if in central) Navan: Things are about to get hairy around here. Good to see everyone in your current region is ready now, thanks to you.
10 minutes remaining, low readiness
(if in north) Caithe: The great march southward is about to start, and it looks like your current region isn't fully ready yet.
On north's transition to medium readiness
Caithe: Nice work. You're making your presence known.
On north's transition to high readiness
Caithe: You've done well preparing everyone! This region is as good as it's going to get.
On central's transition to high readiness
Navan: That's it for your current region. I'd say everyone is ready now.
On south's transition to medium readiness
Captain Fa: About half this region is ready now. Keep it up so everyone's fully prepared when things kick off.
On south's transition to high readiness
Captain Fa: Word is, you've fully prepared this region. Good work! That's going to help in the fight ahead.
Failing the preparations
Aurene: It's too risky! We didn't secure all the regions, and the Void is already starting to flank us!
Captain Fa: Quick, let's back to the quarry and regroup before we're cut off.

Notes[edit]

  • There is no all-encompassing preparations meta event in game; this is just a container for the three meta events actually taking place on the map at this time.
The enhancement effect can be sometimes be rewarded if only two of the three preparations are at high, e.g. North and South
