Portal to Tyria (Mistlock Sanctuary)

The Portal to Tyria allows players to exit the Mistlock Sanctuary. Players will also spawn here upon entering the Sanctuary.

Location[edit]

The portal is unstable and flickers with visions from across the world. It could take you to several different locations, if you time it right.

Return to my previous map.

Travel to the Eye of the North.

Travel to Lion's Arch.

Travel to the Lion's Arch Aerodrome.

View destinations outside Central Tyria

Travel to The Wizard's Tower. (Only accessible with Secrets of the Obscure)

Travel to Arborstone. (Only accessible with End of Dragons)

Back.

View destinations among other capital cities.

Travel to Divinity's Reach.

Travel to Hoelbrak.

Travel to The Grove.

Travel to Rata Sum.

Travel to the Black Citadel.

Back.

Selecting "Return to my previous map." will teleport you to your exact previous location, for example, the end of a jumping puzzle you were at.
Occasionally, if a character goes to a Guild Hall, uses a Home Portal Stone, or the game loads a new build or generates an error requiring logout:
- "Return to my previous map." no longer works.
- A red-lettered message appears instead: "You do not have access to this map."
- If this happens, it is permanent; the character will have to go somewhere else.
Arborstone and the Eye of the North destinations were added to the Mistlock Sanctuary portal in the June 6, 2023 update.
