The Mycelium Colony is a cave within the Jade Pools inhabited by Maguuma-harvested fungi smuggled into Canthan borders by unscrupulous traders due to their status as a delicacy in the Empire of the Dragon.[1] It is protected by a powerful mushroom queen, and contains the skeleton of a leviathan.

Although the mushrooms should be from the Heart of Maguuma, one of the models used is from the Otherworldly Fungus, which is not native to the world of Tyria.
