Mordrem Leeching Thrasher

Tentacle Thrash - The thrasher flies in a circle while ascending and dives down to root itself in the ground after a short delay. While rooted the thrasher channels an attack that damages players with tentacles bursting from the ground. This skill's channeling will be cancelled when it fails to hit enemies for 2 pulses. 360 - 1200 radius. 6 second recharge.
Vampiric Cloud - The thrasher flies a small distance up before diving towards the ground, flying in circles while creating a poison field that damages enemies. Nearby Mordrem are healed whenever a player is damaged by the field. 360 radius. 6 second recharge.

Tentacle Thrash uses another skill called Tentacles to find locations of enemies in the eligible range. When a player is found, Tentacle Thrash is activated on that location after a very short delay.
- This allows the skill to ignore stealth mechanics.
Melee attacks have a chance to move the thrasher back a short distance during the flying animation of Tentacle Thrash. Crowd control mechanics can cause the Thrasher to unroot.
The tentacles from Tentacle Thrash can hit before the tentacles visibly spawn, and have a damaging area larger than their visual appearance would suggest. This is especially the case with veteran or champion variants.
The Thrasher's attacks are selected based on its target's range; the poison cloud is only activated if the enemy is in melee range, and the tentacles are only used if the enemy is further away. The tentacles can only strike at range, leaving the Thrasher immobile and vulnerable to melee while rooted.
During The Concordia Incident you can encounter foes just called Mordrem Thrasher, but with the same abilities as the Mordrem Leeching Thrasher.
