Larra is an asura who can be encountered in sylvari personal story missions if the player chose Act with Wisdom. Tegwen describes her as "loud-mouthed, ruthless, and vulgar. Your standard asuran scientist."

Larra was captured while checking her skritt traps in a storm along with Tegwen. The player rescues them both from a krait tower with the help of Carys. Larra decides to tag along, while inventing colorful nicknames for her party. With her help the party is able to find and trade the skritt for the artifact Tegwen is looking for. Optionally, the player can also ask Larra to recover the lost Tegwen once the sylvari finally finds the artifact.
