Walkthrough[edit]
Protecting Riagan is no longer necessary to complete the event, and he will revive when the champion is defeated. The risen champion will repeatedly pull and knockdown enemies and follow up with a powerful and long whirling attack that will be guaranteed to down any character with a small health pool. It is possible to evade the pull, but it will be hard at melee range. It will also and periodically reflect projectiles and summon risen, including risen krait and abominations, making it potentially challenging for both ranged and melee characters.
It is possible to make the fight easier by luring the champion into the water where it has a different set of skills and a much reduced damage potential. Using ranged aquatic weapons will work even better, as it'll move less and use even fewer skills. This makes the fight much slower, but also much, much safer allowing a single character to solo the champion.
