Ignite the effigy with the Sacred Flame! is a level 80 group event that occurs in Burning Effigy and the conclusion of the Ceremony of the Sacred Flame.

Walkthrough[edit]

Interact with Sacred Flame Brazier to gain Sacred Flame and then attack Charr Effigy with any of your skills. Try to avoid fire tornados (Wild Flame) - they deal massive damage and sets you on fire (stacks multiple Burning).

Event start
Head Shaman Emberheart: The brazier is lit! We bask in its warmth, and pray for it to burn away the evils of our past.
Head Shaman Emberheart: This effigy represents that which we seek to purge. Imbue your weapons with the sacred flame, then strike the effigy!
Event success
Head Shaman Emberheart: The effigy burns bright, and we are blessed with the strength of its flame.
Head Shaman Emberheart: And as the cinders rise, let the evils of our past go with them.
Event failure
Head Shaman Emberheart: We have failed. The flame has dimmed. But we are strong! We will nurture it again in time.

Trivia[edit]

  • Up until some time prior to October 9th, 2019 there was a bug that allowed Fire (effect).png Fire applied during this event to persist after death, required a relog or port to another zone to fix it.
