Trivia perhaps[edit]
I think that Gift of the Fractals and Recipe: Gift of the Fractals might fit as trivia on the pages of the actual items they were likely renamed to. Additionally I'd put for the minor runes on their respective Superior and/or Major Rune pages like Superior Sigil of Momentum does (and should probably be fixed so the links to the pages are removed when the pages are deleted). Additionally, I see no point in keeping Enchanted Hourglass as a page honestly, I feel it would fit better as trivia on the Prototype Position Rewinder page. - Doodleplex 00:35, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
Hazmat Suit[edit]
The player and mentor don Hazmat suits during the Asura personal story Hazardous Environment. That page currently links to the flagged article. I don't think there would be a lot of article for that item were it created properly, the flagged page probably has more content. Could we craft a dual purpose page? It also reminds me of the previous version of the renown heart in SE Metrica, Assist Researcher Kaii with Incomp's scrap heap where you assumed a golem form. I do not recall the name of the transformation nor the skill it gained clearly. Adeira Tasharo (talk)
- There's actually a number of "Hazmat Suit" cases. As mentioned, there's Hazardous Environment, but there is also:
- [[Hazmat Suit (To The Core)]]
- [[Hazmat Suit (Unscheduled Delay)]], which produces Hazmat Suit (effect).
- An NPC called "Hazmat Suit" during Shattered Light.
- And the racial skill and tonic that gives Hazmat Suit appearance.
- I think it needs a bit of an overhaul. See if the version in Hazardous Environment and To The Core adds an effect like Unscheduled Delay or not, and which instances have what skills. Konig (talk) 01:41, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
Polearms are not a player invention[edit]
Seems Konig hasn't bothered checking the ingame proof I gave him in the previous page yet. Here's a copy of it: , , , , , .--Lon-ami (talk) 12:33, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- I agree that we should retain Polearm (weapon type) however I think there might be a bit too much guesswork examples for my liking. --Chieftain Alex 12:57, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- Most of the guesswork is explained here: Talk:Polearm (weapon type)#Polearm skins converted into spear skins.--Lon-ami (talk) 13:07, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- I did check that page and that talk page that you linked, and every single one of those unimplemented skins had the weapon type Spear. I checked your list here, and those do have weapon type Polearm, so I will rescind my statement and my proposition to delete.
- However, guesswork is not what the wiki is about. We do not post speculation, but facts. And in the end, the article has far too much guesswork. Doesn't matter how convincing it is, without confirmation, it is nothing but speculation in the end and does not belong on the main articles. Konig (talk) 22:43, 7 December 2018 (UTC)

Late additions[edit]
So I'm fairly certain there's a decent number of content that was flagged as "historical" when it really never made it past the beta, and some items that were just found via the api/dat/watever and just never flagged as unimplimented. I'm gonna be adding a list of these items here, if anybody finds anything, feel free to add in as well. - Doodleplex 15:45, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
- Beta content
- Core of Flamestrike
- Core of Poison Nova
- Creature Codex and it's handful of items
- Gwenwyn
- Losing Choya Pit Fighter Ticket
- Winning Choya Pit Fighter Ticket
- Clerk Sanderson
- Likely beta, but others were deleted
- ← moved to Guild Wars 2 Wiki:Projects/Unimplemented content/list
- Found somehow, but never flagged as unimplemented
- ← moved to Guild Wars 2 Wiki:Projects/Unimplemented content/list
- So Gwenwyn I want to say I saw during pre-BfLA but not as a vendor, but looking at Hooligan's Route history she was removed pre-Jan '13 so before Flame and Frost even, so I likely misremember. Creature Codex was 100% implemented but removed before release so I think that's why it got tagged historical. But sure, move those two to unimplemented instead. They deserve being kept though.
- The two cores are new to me, but given their description it looks like Anet attempted to bring the gw1 weapon upgrade component system into GW2. Rather interesting, we should try to find more, but I say keep since it seems to be beta content and as said, it gives a view into development process that we don't see elsewhere.
- Sabetha's Coffer... I got no clue what to make of that and looks like a delete to me. Konig (talk) 00:10, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
- Just in case I haven't made it obvious, anything I've found that is/apepars to be Beta content, I have no issues with keeping, and would prefer to keep. I'm just adding what wasn't tagged right in case somebody has an issue or can add on things. - Doodleplex 00:13, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
- The choya tickets were available during the PoF beta. ~SimeTalk 19:37, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks Sime! Do you remember anything about how to get them during the beta? - Doodleplex 00:08, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
- Wish you made the new items a separate list so it'd make sense to talk about them. :P Anyways, for the tickets, there is/was a little choya arena in Amnoon's casino, and you were able to bet on one choya or the other. I think folks found a bug where you could bet on both and "always win" so it got cut.
- As for the others: The jewels look like continuation of jewels that got renamed after beta, but also seems to have some that never got released; like the others trivia note+delete those that got renamed, keep those that got scrapped. Box of Wanderer's Draconian Armor - like the Trailblazer's armor, we should check to see if the recipe for getting such exists, should be same as others. It's likely something that either was added because it was expected to exist, or was dat dived and no one discovered it (who would want exotic Wanderer's armor after all?). Dusty Personalized Wintersday Gift So I recall the "Dusty" Wintersday Gifts from when they changed the gift system, reducing it to just normal, personalized, generous (daily?), and extravagant (reward track?); originally there was small, large, etc. The gifts that got discontinued were changed into Dusty boxes; if this wasn't around for then, it was likely planned and scrapped? Need some research into this.
- The Music of a Lost City Isn't this from the guild hall music npc and currently in-game? Gargoyle Skull (Infused) Looks like an accidental leak of a planned upgrades for ascended trinkets, given how recent it is, it seems to be dat sourced and might or might not become something. We can restore it if it does become something. Delete. Kodan Supplies Isn't this event related? Needs research. Wyvern Broodmother's Cache IIRC, this was the reward for killing the Mordrem Matriarch during one of the betas? Commander's Armor Chest/Wanderer's Armor Chest These look like HoT beta stuff to me. Looking more, they seem more likely to be either super-rare drops for HoT, or planned-and-scrapped super rare drops. I'd probably delete with a restore note should they ever be found. Mushroom Cache (rare) Looks like HoT meta stuff, maybe just barely documented but in-game? Konig (talk) 00:50, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
- I've gone through what I know of in terms of suspected dat/chat code scraping/no-no touching things, so that's all I can add to this; I've moved the full lists to the main page, poke at them there. I have an additional list of items that still do show up in the API but we have literally nothing about them at User:Doodleplex/Things To Do#Item check, mostly things that are more than likely map rewards of some kind but I have no idea, so they didn't really fit here, if anybody wants to take a stab at them. - Doodleplex 03:53, 11 December 2018 (UTC)

Trivia for Fargate Opener and Belinda's Greatsword (Imbued)[edit]
I think the trivia screenshots for these two should be at the skin pages, not the item pages.--Lon-ami (talk) 17:24, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
- How about both the item + skin pages? -Chieftain Alex 07:14, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- To be honest, I think people are more likely going to see trivia on weapon pages then skin pages, so I think it's better off being there. Otherwise I don't particularly care, though it would feel pretty repetitive on both pages. - Doodleplex 03:53, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
WvW Dolyak Finishers[edit]
Just want to say the WvW dolyak finishers WERE available ingame from the 1st wvw season, I still have mine for 2nd place. ~SimeTalk 15:03, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- Ah, but it looks like what we deleted was not what you have, different name and such. The Limited Use once were still in game as per the German wiki, that's why I never touched them. - Doodleplex 15:10, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, the names are not all accurate, but that means we were/are missing the info about them completely. ~SimeTalk 15:11, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- Wait if you still have the finish, can you preview it for a picture so we can put it on the wiki? =o I can get the gold one from the German wiki currently, but that's all they have image wise. - Doodleplex 15:15, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- Was on it even before I read your comment :D ~SimeTalk 15:15, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- One question, does it say "finisher" on the end? The Gold and Bronze don't have the word "finisher" at the end. - Doodleplex 15:25, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah it does. WvW Silver Dolyak Finisher is its full name. ~SimeTalk 15:27, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- That's the name of the finisher, not the item, right? It seems the limited use consuambles lost the word finisher somehow. - Doodleplex 15:29, 16 December 2018 (UTC)

About the Gift-Wrapped Booster[edit]
Hi everyone,
I want to clarify one item on this list: the information for the Gift-Wrapped Booster was shared by me with White Wolf ahead of the release, so that patch notes could be ready for the wiki. This was not datamined and not an issue, so please modify accordingly. I could have remove their name from the page but thought it'd be easier if I made a comment here!
Thank you for your edits :) --Stephane Lo Presti talk 15:34, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you letting us know the source of the item! I'm curious to know what happened to the item, did it make it into the game or was it changed into something else? - Doodleplex 15:44, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
- I have no idea and I don't think it's worth the time to investigate, sorry! --Stephane Lo Presti talk 16:15, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
- Fair enough, either way, thank you! - Doodleplex 16:15, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
