First Spear Dehvad

From Guild Wars 2 Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

In life, First Spear Dehvad was a member of the Order of the Sunspears. He was the one responsible for training the Sunspears who would eventually free Palawa Joko and defeat Abaddon.

When he died, like all Sunspears since Palawa Joko's return, his body was cremated. He was then buried in the Sandstrewn Shrine. His spirit remains where his ashes were buried, to offer guidance to those who seek it.

Location[edit]

Crystal Desert

Dialogue[edit]

Greetings. I'm First Spear Dehvad. It's good to see a friendly face again. We don't get too many visitors here.
(After starting Honoring the Fallen, if you have a Pristine Awakened Emblem in inventory)

I have a Pristine Awakened Emblem for you.
You've done well to destroy so many of Joko's soldiers. Take this as a token of our gratitude.

Here's the Pristine Skree Harpy Feather you wanted.
Please accept this token for fighting so bravely against the harpies.

I have the Pristine Devourer Fang you asked for.
You've weakened the threat of devourers. Here, take this is a token of our gratitude.

(If didn't complete Honoring the Fallen)

I'd like to honor the Sunspears. What can I do?
The greatest way to honor our memory is to continue our duties by keeping Elona safe from threats. Defeat our enemies and bring proof of your deeds.
Talk more option tango.png
What kind of threats?
There are three scourges that pose a grave threat to Elonians: the Awakened, the harpies and the devourers.
Talk more option tango.png
The Awakened. Of course.
Yes. Our oldest and most hated foe. Thinning their numbers has always been our highest priority. Collect a Pristine Awakened Emblem from them and bring it to me.
Talk back option tango.png
What were the other tasks?
Talk end option tango.png
I'm on it.
Talk more option tango.png
Harpies?
The Skree harpies are regaining strength up in the sulfur quarry and the Boundary Preserve. They can't be allowed to gain a foothold. Collect a Pristine Harpy Feather and bring it to me.
Talk back option tango.png
What were the other tasks?
Talk end option tango.png
Good-bye.
Talk more option tango.png
Devourers?
With so many pressing matters, small things can fall through the cracks. The devourers, if allowed to multiply, could threaten all of Elona. Thin their numbers, and bring me a Pristine Devourer Fang.
Talk back option tango.png
What were the other tasks?
Talk end option tango.png
Consider it done.
Talk back option tango.png
Tell me about something else.
Talk end option tango.png
Good-bye.
Talk back option tango.png
Let's talk about something else.
Talk end option tango.png
Not today.
Talk more option tango.png
What is this place?
My ashes are laid to rest here with those of my fellow Sunspears.
Talk more option tango.png
You were cremated?
All Sunspears are cremated. We refuse to be Awakened to fight for Joko!
Talk back option tango.png
Tell me about something else.
Talk end option tango.png
Good-bye.
Talk back option tango.png
Tell me about something else.
Talk end option tango.png
Rest in peace.
(If working on Open Skies: The Desolation)
Talk more option tango.png
I'm looking for a Sunspear rune called Virzak.
The Rune of Compassion. Yes, it was once left here by a mourner paying respects. But the nearby elementals made off with it a long time ago.
Talk back option tango.png
Tell me about something else.
Talk end option tango.png
I'll have a look around. Thanks.
Talk end option tango.png
Good-bye.

Notes[edit]

Gwwlogo.png The Guild Wars Wiki has an article on First Spear Dehvad.
  • First Spear Dehvad will spawn when a player uses either /salute or /bow on the Sunspear platform.
  • Bringing him the three items that he requests will award a mastery insight and a Mini First Spear Dehvad.
