Walkthrough[edit]

All of the assault knights have the same mechanics. They start off with Condition Reflect that immediately reflects conditions applied to them to players. Players can receive conditions applied by any player, not just their own. Only players who apply conditions will receive reflected conditions; players who never apply conditions will never have conditions applied to them. At 75% health, the knight will switch to Condition Crash and will then have its power reduced by applications of conditions. At 50%, it switches back to Condition Reflect, and at 25%, it switches a final time back to Condition Crash.

Throughout the fight, the knights will lay down AoE fields in a circle around them. Standing in these fields will give players the same Calibration effect of the knight that they are fighting. This is required to do damage to the knights. To encourage players to spread out and fight all knights simultaneously, there are only 50 of these buffs available for each knight. Even if every player on a server goes to one knight, only 50 will be able to deal damage. In this way, it is impossible to kill the three knights one at a time. Additionally, any extra players at the event will be unable to do damage, but will scale the fight up, making it much more difficult.

Players will have a difficult time fighting the knight at close range. The melee attack cycle is extremely powerful and inflicts knockdown regularly. In addition, the knight frequently uses Explosive Impact, a stomp attack where the knight leaps into the air with a fiery blast, then slams down on the ground, inflicting heavy damage and knockback. Due to the heavy damage players will often be unable to revive players who are downed in melee range. As such range attacks are probably the best strategy.

The knight's most dangerous attack is Extraction, a long range AoE pull that draws players into melee range. It is always followed by Hammer Swing, which inflicts daze. The range of Extraction is so large that players will likely be unable to move out of its radius. It therefore must be dodged or otherwise evaded. The proper timing to evade is right after the AoE attack indicator disappears, which is just after the knight leaps into the air. Players caught by this pull will have a split second to dodge away from the followup Hammer Swing. Players can also avoid the attack by moving into melee range, however players that do this must watch out for the Hammer Swing.

Once all 3 assault knights are dead players will be able to acquire the Prime Light Attunement by visiting the three AoE fields that appear at each of the battlegrounds. Also at each battleground is a teleporter that will take players to The Breachmaker to start the Defeat Scarlet's Prime Hologram before the defenses activate event. If players fail to kill all 3 knights before the time runs out, The Breachmaker will remain inaccessible and they will have to try again next hour.
