I've heard terrible stories about the sort of beasts that wander the world beyond the Grove—half-human, half-horse monstrosities, and creatures that look like oxen but walk upright. Is it true?

Centaurs and minotaurs? Yes, they're real.

Everyone is so frightened of the dragons. It seems to me like there are many other things to fear, as well. I don't think I shall leave the Grove. Bravery is not one of my strengths.
