The Alliance strives to provide safe passage for travelers of these mountain passes beset by ettins and other hazards.

Tell me about your ettin problem.

Ettins endanger the Alliance presence, not to mention local travelers. We'd welcome help culling those creatures.

Is that your main mission here, to clear out the local ettins?

What sort of precautions have you people been taking?

We've laid traps everywhere for the ettins. Resetting any traps that have been sprung would really help us.

Besides the traps, what else occupies your time here?

I'll watch my step.

What would help travelers like me get through the mountains safely?

We've set up torches to mark the travel paths. It's a lot of work to keep them lit, though.

What are the other issues you're dealing with?

I'll watch for those torches.

What else I can [sic] do to help?

We have patrols throughout the area. Help them by combating local threats and tending our watch fires.

Other than patrolling the passes, what else occupies the Alliance here?
