These are the expected rewards for a level 80 player.

The success of this event is not necessary to progress the Maws of Torment meta-event.
While eliminating Forged Barricades is not required, destroying barricades will allow Demolitionist Folke to move faster towards the portal in the following event, giving players more time to complete it.
- Specifically, eliminating the southernmost barricades towards the portal (or to one's left if facing towards the portal) will provide the shortest route to the portal.
- Other barricades can be ignored to save time and effort.

Before start of event: Watcher Fransen: I'm almost done with this portal spike. Ready to run to the portal.; Demolitionist Folke: Of course, it'll be fun. Leave it to me. I'll shut down the portal.; Watcher Fransen: I'll see if I can get you an escort. Best to be cautious.; Demolitionist Folke: You're always trying to take the fun out of blowing things up.
