I was an avid Guild Wars fan and player and used the Guild Wars wiki for just about everything, so thought it only right to become a User and contribute something back in return. Before Guild Wars 2 was released, I created an account here too so that I could contribute here as well.
I played Guild Wars pretty much since release. I used to escape into Tyria when things got tough in my life, when I finished a hard days work and just when I wanded to relax and have some fun. I met my wife (or my fiancé but we're as good as married) in Guild Wars and we now have 5 kids. The Guild Wars games and the wikis shared all the last 9 years of my life with me. They have had an absolutely massive impact on my life. I have so SO many happy memories tied to them, not just of playing, editing and chatting but of things that were going on in my life at the time. As my family has grown, I have been editing less and less over the years so I'm not on here as much as I used to be so if you try contact me through here, it might take me a while to get back to you.
