Description[edit]
This template returns a list of all traits that grant or improves a certain effect. It displays the following sections:
- Page context: Effect
- Traits granting the effect, using template trait list, based on the parameters from the template skill fact. The heading is omitted if the following two sections (related trait skills/traits that improve) are empty.
- Trait skills granting the effect, using template skill list, with the skill context Trait, based on the parameters from the template skill fact.
- Traits that improve the effect, using Trait list by property, based on the parameters improves skill/boon/condition/control effect/aura/effect/weapon/type from the template
- Page context: Trait
- Traits that improve the trait, using Trait list by property, based on from other page's parameters improves trait/boon/condition/control effect/aura/effect from the template trait infobox.
- Traits that are improved by the trait, using Trait list by property, based on the this page's parameter improves trait/boon/condition/control effect/aura/effect from the template trait infobox.

Sorted by profession (alphabetically within heavy, medium, light), by elite specialization and trait line. It relies on the usage of the template {{skill fact}}, which sets the according skill fact properties, and on the usage of the improves parameters of the template {{trait infobox}}. Parameters[edit]
- 1 (unnamed parameter)
- Required. Skill fact (boon, condition or control effect, e.g. Might, Burning), trait, skill, weapon type, skill type. Defaults to PAGENAME.
- heading
- Optional. Additional heading suffix, e.g. "that grant might".
- heading improves
- Optional. Additional heading suffix for traits that improve, e.g. "that improve might".
- heading improved
- Optional. Additional heading suffix for traits that are improved by, e.g. "that are improved by Might Makes Right".
- heading level
- Optional. Heading level, defaults to "h3".
- mode
- Optional. Either "plain" (default) or "heading" (displays trait line headings and omits the profession, primarily intended for trait pages only).
- type
- Optional. Skill fact type. For boons, conditions and control effect this is set automatically. See also here.
- game mode
- Optional. On default the game mode is restricted to the PvE version (except for suffix=notes, there all versions are taken into account). Set it to "all" to select all game modes or specify one or more game modes: "PvE", "WvW", "PvP" and "Default" (for skills that aren't split, e.g. "Default, PvE"), separated by ",".
- suffix
- Optional. Either "none", "description" (default) or "notes" (stacks and duration).
- suffix improves
- Optional. Used on improving traits on effect/skill type/property pages to avoid mixing up with the trait list suffix. Either "description" or "none".
- secondary.
- Optional. Secondary effect, e.g. "converted from" attribute for type "Attribute Conversion". Overrides unnamed parameter 1.
- number
- Optional. Allows to ask for the skill effect number, e.g. "20" for Physical Projectile (20% chance) and "100" for Physical Projectile.
- include effects
- Optional. Include fact type "Effect" facts to allow keywords set via effect bonus (i.e. to ask for Property:Has fact effect instead of Property:Has fact), e.g. "Power" for Banner of Strength. Either "no" (default), "yes" or "only".
- show filter
- Optional. Set to "true" to show and "false" to hide filter options. The filter is available on effect pages, where this parameter defaults to "true" on Boon/Condition/Aura/Control effect pages, and on skill type, weapon or game mechanic pages, where this parameter always defaults to "false" (hidden on default).
- query
- Optional. Expert mode only. Custom query for trait (and trait skills) lists that can be used on overview pages only (no context).
- query improves
- Optional. Expert mode only. Custom query for improves trait lists that can be used on overview pages only (no context).

Traits that apply burning
- Eternal Armory (Zeal) — Spirit Weapons gain additional casts and burn foes with their first strike.
- Permeating Wrath (Virtues) — The passive effect of Virtue skill 1 triggers more quickly and now burns in an area.
- Quickfire (Firebrand) — Retain Justice passive while it is on cooldown. Granting quickness to an ally also grants Ashes of the Just.
- Searing Pact (Willbender) — Gain condition damage. Willbender Flames now inflict burning on foes they strike.
- Diabolic Inferno (Corruption) — Invoke Torment applies poison and burning.
- Crack Shot (Discipline) — Your longbow, rifle, and harpoon gun weapon skill 1 attacks are enhanced.
- Last Blaze (Berserker) — When you use a rage skill, inflict burning on nearby enemies.
- King of Fires (Berserker) — Increase the duration of burning you apply. Gain fire aura when you critically hit an enemy. Berserker skills detonate fire aura, damaging and burning nearby foes.
- Incendiary Powder (Firearms) — Burning you inflict lasts longer, and your critical hits inflict burning.
- Solar Focusing Lens (Holosmith) — Your first few attacks after entering or exiting Photon Forge inflict burning and deal increased strike damage. This bonus is also granted if you overheat.
- Photonic Blasting Module (Holosmith) — Overheat now blasts damage to nearby foes and no longer deals its initial damage to you. The tool belt recharge penalty for Overheat is reduced. Heat can only be lost after overheating. Damage over time from Overheat is still applied.
- Eclipse (Druid) — Your Celestial Avatar skills are offensively augmented.
- Burning Precision (Fire) — Burning you inflict has increased duration and your critical hits gain a chance to inflict burning.
- Burning Rage (Fire) — Sunspot inflicts burning, and its radius is increased. Your condition damage is increased.
- Arcane Precision (Arcane) — Your critical strikes have a chance to inflict a condition based on your attunement.
- The Pledge (Illusions) — Flame bursts from torch skills inflict additional burning.
- Dhuumfire (Soul Reaping) — Shroud skill 1 inflicts burning on your target.
- Sadistic Searing (Scourge) — Nefarious Favor now burns nearby enemy targets.
- Demonic Lore (Scourge) — Torment you inflict deals increased damage and causes your foes to burn. This trait can only inflict burning on a particular target once every three seconds.
Trait skills that apply burning
- Call of the Dragon (Song of the Mists) — Strike enemies around you, inflicting multiple conditions.
- Drop Gunk (Streamlined Kits) — Drop gunk at your location to inflict a random condition.
- Fire Shield (Streamlined Kits) — Activate a fire shield that burns enemies who strike you, granting might for each burn applied.
- Vent Exhaust (Thermal Release Valve) — Damage nearby foes and apply conditions to them. Lose heat. This attack activates Heat Therapy if you have not overheated.
- Rocket Punch (Mech Fighter) — Your mech launches an explosive fist that detonates on hit, dealing defiance damage to enemies with active defiance bars. This skill is only used when you activate Skill 3 on your weapon.
- Flame Burst (Evasive Arcana, when attuned to fire) — Burn nearby foes.
- Flame Expulsion (Pyromancer's Puissance) — After a short delay, consume might on yourself and release a torrent of flame. Allies are granted might, while damage and burning is increased based on might consumed.
- Lesser Cleansing Fire (Burning Fire) — Cantrip. Cure conditions and burn foes. Gain might for each condition removed.
- Dhuumfire (Dhuumfire) — Blast your foe with life force, setting them alight.
- Dhuumfire (Dhuumfire) — Blast a foe with a plague that transfers one condition to them.
Traits that improve burning
- Fiery Wrath (Zeal) — Deal increased strike damage to burning foes.
- Inner Fire (Radiance) — Gain fury when you strike a foe that has burning stacks over the threshold.
- Radiant Fire (Radiance) — Zealot's Flame is improved. Burning you inflict has increased duration, and your torch skills gain reduced recharge.
- Amplified Wrath (Radiance) — Burning you inflict deals increased damage. Burning duration applied by the passive effect of Virtue skill 1 is increased.
- Yearning Empowerment (Corruption) — Damaging conditions you apply last longer.
- King of Fires (Berserker) — Increase the duration of burning you apply. Gain fire aura when you critically hit an enemy. Berserker skills detonate fire aura, damaging and burning nearby foes.
- Incendiary Powder (Firearms) — Burning you inflict lasts longer, and your critical hits inflict burning.
- Burning Precision (Fire) — Burning you inflict has increased duration and your critical hits gain a chance to inflict burning.
- Pyromancer's Training (Fire) — Your fire-weapon skills gain reduced recharge. Deal increased strike damage to burning foes.
- Blinding Ashes (Fire) — Inflict blindness on foes you burn. This trait can only affect the same enemy once per interval.
- Jagged Mind (Virtuoso) — Blade attacks inflict bleeding on critical hits. A percentage of your condition damage dealt heals you.
- Parasitic Contagion (Curses) — A percentage of your condition damage heals you. Healing will not occur while life force replaces health.
- Fell Beacon (Scourge) — Burning you inflict does more damage. Gain expertise based on your condition damage.
- Nourishing Ashes (Scourge) — Gain life force when you inflict burning, and remove or corrupt a boon.

Fire

- Warhorn Proficiency (Tempest) — You can wield the warhorn weapon.
Enhancements
- Roaring Reveille (Tactics) — Warhorn skills apply additional boons. Your concentration is increased.
- Farsighted (Marksmanship) — Ranger weapon skills deal increased strike damage. Damage is further increased for foes above the range threshold.
- Windborne Notes (Nature Magic) — Grant nearby allies regeneration when you use a warhorn skill. Heal allies when you grant them regeneration.
- Pyromancer's Training (Fire) — Your fire-weapon skills gain reduced recharge. Deal increased strike damage to burning foes.
- Aeromancer's Training (Air) — Gain ferocity, and gain additional ferocity while attuned to air. Air weapon skills get a reduced recharge time.
- Geomancer's Training (Earth) — Strike damage from nearby foes is reduced. Earth weapon skills gain reduced recharge.
- Aquamancer's Training (Water) — Increase healing to other allies. Water-weapon skills gain reduced recharge.
- Banshee's Wail (Blood Magic) — Warhorn skills gain increased effect duration.
- Lesser Call of the Wild (Clarion Bond) — Weaken nearby enemies. Grant fury, might, and swiftness to yourself and nearby allies.

Traits
- Resilient Spirit (Salvation) — Periodically gain barrier for each unique boon you have.
- Last Stand (Defense) — Stances grant vigor and barrier when activated, and they have increased duration.
- Unshakable Mountain (Bladesworn) — Using the final round of ammo on an ammunition skill grants barrier.
- Blast Shield (Explosives) — Explosive Entrance grants barrier. Gain vitality based on a percentage of your power.
- System Shocker (Scrapper) — Disabling a foe grants barrier to nearby allies. Your function gyro dazes foes when cast. Disables include stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.
- Impact Savant (Scrapper) — A percentage of the strike damage you deal is converted into barrier.
- Ex Machina (Scrapper) — Function gyro has additional charges, no longer has a recharge penalty, and grants barrier to nearby allies.
- Crystal Configuration: Eclipse (Holosmith) — Corona Burst grants a barrier for each target struck.
- Mech Core: Barrier Engine (Mechanist) — Unlocks the Mech Command skill Barrier Burst. While in combat, your mech will automatically grant a small barrier each interval to nearby allies. The mech does not count against the target count for this trait.
- Nature's Shield (Untamed) — Cantrips grant barrier to you and your pet.
- Shielding Restoration (Shadow Arts) — Grant barrier to nearby allies when you use a healing skill.
- Panaku's Ambition (Specter) — Gain barrier when you strike foes with a stealth attack. When you apply stealth to allies you also grant them barrier. This effect can only be received once and will reset when stealth is removed.
- Earthen Blast (Earth) — Gain barrier and cripple nearby foes when attuning to earth. Also triggers on overload skills. Barrier will not be gained when attuning to the same element.
- Elemental Refreshment (Weaver) — Grant barrier to yourself when using Dual Attack skills.
- Invigorating Strikes (Weaver) — Gain vigor when using a Dual Attack. Dodge rolling grants a barrier.
- Blood Bank (Blood Magic) — Gaining health grants a proportionate amount of barrier. Conversion amount increases while at full health.
- Feed from Corruption (Scourge) — When you remove or corrupt a boon from an enemy, gain barrier.
- Desert Empowerment (Scourge) — Manifest Sand Shade grants a barrier to allies near it. When you apply barrier, grant boons to the affected target. This effect only occurs with barrier from scourge skills and traits.
- Call of the Dwarf (Song of the Mists) — Strike enemies around you, inflicting weakness, gaining barrier, and gaining additional barrier per target hit.
- Saint's Shield (Saint of zu Heltzer) — Drop from above, granting barrier and healing to allies in the affected area.
- Lesser Stone Resonance (Bolstered Elements) — Stance. Enter an earthen state, gaining barrier periodically over the course of the stance.
- Sandstorm Shroud (Herald of Sorrow) — Shade. Enter the final shroud, pulsing barrier to allies around yourself and priming the shroud for a powerful detonation that damages enemies and bolsters allies. Targets can only be affected by this skill once per activation.
Traits that improve Barrier
- Mech Frame: Channeling Conduits (Mechanist) — Unlocks the Mech Command skill Crisis Zone. When you or your mech apply barrier, also grant a boon to the affected target. Your mech gains a greater percentage of your concentration and healing power stats.
- Dark Sentry (Specter) — Apply Rot Wallow Venom to allies you grant barrier to. Outgoing healing to allies is increased. Rot Wallow Venom effect cannot apply to yourself.
- Abrasive Grit (Scourge) — Granting an ally a barrier removes conditions afflicting them and grants might. This effect only occurs with barrier from scourge skills and traits.
- Desert Empowerment (Scourge) — Manifest Sand Shade grants a barrier to allies near it. When you apply barrier, grant boons to the affected target. This effect only occurs with barrier from scourge skills and traits.

Trait skills that have the type arcane
- Lesser Arcane Shield (Final Shielding) — Arcane. Block attacks with an energy shield. If it blocks three attacks, it explodes.
Traits that improve arcane skills
- Arcane Lightning (Arcane) — Arcane skills grant increased ferocity and have additional effects.
