Exactly which achievements count towards the meta requirement of 18 and which don't?[edit]

I have way more than 18 achievements done already but it still shows 16/18, I wish ANet would clearly state in each achievement which ones are part of the meta and which aren't.
Also, are there any more hidden achievements (apart from the Aurene one), and do they count towards the meta? --27.104.145.75 04:16, 18 May 2019 (UTC)

You can see which achievements count for the meta and which of those you've already completed in game by clicking on the meta-achievement. But we should really put it here too.
As for hidden achievements: There's nothing else showing on the API, so if there are any more, not a single player has found them yet. Which means it's very unlikely. If hidden achievements count for the meta or not usually depends on the specific achievement. --Alcahata (talk) 07:20, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
Thanks to Ojimaru there now is a list of all achievements counting towards the meta achievement available at "War Eternal" Mastery. Almdudler (talk) 20:55, 18 May 2019 (UTC)

Sniper's Nest[edit]

Do we want to try to collect possible locations? I have one I saw her at while doing an event. I went back days later and afk'd at that spot and got it. It would also allow to note dialog, granted she probably only has two lines. She said a line as she appeared and as the achievement popped, shot a few times, said one more line and poof'd. I've gotten her twice. She seems to spawn at any event on the map, same as Aurene, so I'm not sure that locations would be terribly helpful. She has at least 2 different dialogue variants, since both times the dialogue has been different for me (both before the shots and after the shots). We may as well make a page for it since we have the dialogue and it's not terribly straightforward from the description. AnastashaRomanov (talk) 05:07, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

I've *heard* her a few times prior to getting the achievement but clearly wasn't close enough to get credit. The "getting credit" spots will be much harder to pin down but I was curious if it would be valuable. Yanaru (talk) 13:46, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

Just because the recommendation to 'do events and you'll get it eventually' is found on many walkthroughs...Zafirah absolutely spawns where this article shows; and I wanted to maybe mention maybe adding it to the article. https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/bp1kw5/snipers_nest_achievement_location/

Feedback 2019/05/30[edit]

While I like the idea of splitting the skyscale achievements, doing so has the unintended effect of messing with the main table, such as changing the Achievement Point values, and API lookup. I reckon the table may work better on the main skyscale article (if the current list doesn't provide enough clarity), as people looking to unlock the skyscale would likely go there instead.--Ojimaru (talk) 13:55, 30 May 2019 (UTC)

I checked before I started and the totals and achievement points are unchanged for me. Also the API check works as normal for me. —Kvothe (talk) 14:12, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
Oh neat! If that works, that gives me an idea to address meta achievements! Thanks a bunch! — Ojimaru (talk) 14:37, 30 May 2019 (UTC)

Show Some Restraint[edit]

While mounted, use 50 Soul Binders on Dragonfall.

Use Soul Binder is a special action skill available during specific events in Dragonfall. It appears when a player character is near a Branded Debris, fast-moving Branded, or Crystal Pylon while mounted.

After soul binder collection is done, there are two Olmakhan Camp events in Tier 3 that give credit towards this achieve:
