Race is directly tied to multiple arcs of your personal story (I, II, III, and V). There's no way they could implement race changes without having to basically delete and recreate your character at level 1. —Dr Ishmael 20:44, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

who said a Charr can't be living and working in an Asura lab? or a Sylvari who has chosen to Join the Blood legion? anyways, I think Race change could be implemented, but with requirements, "Join an Order + be level 30", in this case, it wouldn't fuck up the story to much rather than you was a sylvari first time you talked to a person, and later was an Asura. but hey? you can change your sex so why even bother the logic that the NPCs recognize you! C'mon, this is the GW2 universe we're talking about! In one of the missions, if your doing the Whisperers line, you change Tybolt (male charr) into a human woman. I can't actually remember if it was a potion or ritual but it's already possible in game lore. Also, what about the Asure, how may ingenius way could they find to do it? Tnx Crow lets hope they add the race change part, maybe some more option hair/head options but another question are all the sounds of the character the same? Like my male sylvari will have the same voice as another 1s? --Draaky

This page severely needs updating as many of the new hairstyles are not there and it's more of a "hunt to find old updates" to get them all. However I'm only casual pleb and have no idea how to do it. =c 108.35.163.242 18:27, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

2/26/13 Update

I've added information about the new, unique to kits (both total and self-style) eye and hair colors. However, I'm a brand new noob to the wiki, and I could not get the thumb nail images to arrange themselves evenly within their table columns and rows. If anyone with more experience could fix that right up, I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much for helping out a new wiki editor!

Bug note

The original bug is gone, but it still get reported from time to time. Though most reports have turned out to be bogus (people not checking at night), there have been a few times it has been fixed by support manually. So it is still a bug, but the change hitting it is much much more less. 195.240.63.18 15:20, 19 July 2013 (UTC)

not of the best quality, however I've noticed that not all faces and haircuts are listed for all races. So while it doesn't have shots from the sides, feel free to use any of my pictures from here to update the wiki.

Colors for accessories

The page they were on was getting too long, making this page even worse, so they got split up into separate pages by race. Links have been provided in the notes section for individual racial apperances. - Do_odleplex 01:58, 12 November 2017 (UTC)

Price change

My purchase history says I bought one of these for 280 gems on 11/1/2014 (which is 80% of the current price of 350g). Did a quick search but didn't see any mention of sales around that time. I checked the item's history on the other wikis, and they say the same price of 350 since around 2012/early 2013. Chance are it was on sale at the time, and we simply just don't have record of the sale. - Do_odleplex 22:56, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
