There is 5 masteries in eod, not 6. "Unknown mastery line" can be removed. We know all of them.

Feedback 2020/11/29[edit]

Really, really, really minor point but would it not read better to say 'slated to be released', rather than 'stated to be released'? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 78.146.106.210 (talk) at 00:32, 29 November 2020‎ (UTC).

The "Aetherblades and a dragon, "Echo in the Mists"[5]" should be "Aetherblades and a dragon, "An echo in the Mists"[5]" The an is in the image url, but clearer in the thumbnail url https://d3b4yo2b5lbfy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/8420ct_an_echo_in_the_Mists.jpg --64.136.142.252 06:51, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for noticing, that was my mistake (I somehow didn't notice the "an"). User:Sunlion fixed it. ~Sime 14:14, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

Min spec[edit]

When this is officially launches I think there should be a section for minimum and recommended system specs. The recommendations changed with PoF. https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/201862958-Minimum-System-Requirements --Life Infusion «T» 19:26, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

We have the requirements on some pages already, like Frequently Asked Questions#System Requirements, Running the game and Guild Wars 2, but I agree having them included on the specific expac page as well is not a bad idea. ~Sime 19:31, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
I kind of want a user page for "optimizing GW2 for framerate (FPS)" because some people think turning up model limit is a good idea because they have a new RTX GPU , despite this being CPU-bound to the utmost extent. Shadows, reflections, and model limit are the biggest hits to CPU.--Life Infusion «T» 19:35, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

Areas[edit]

I know the areas for Cantha are listed as Shing Jea and Echovald Forest, but should we also add that The Jade Sea and Kaineng City will also be included? Both were featured in the teaser trailer and the former appears to have concept art as seen on the page.

Concept art =/= being included in the expac, and although there is a big chance that Kaineng City will be included, it wasn't named in the teaser. Only the two locations were 100% confirmed. ~Sime 16:51, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

Feedback 2021/02/20[edit]

Just to be accurate, it wasn't Raymond Lukes that confirmed Canthan Elite Specialization, but a developer named Robert (Gee?). (In references.) --Inculpatus cedo (talk) 16:37, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

Sentence structure[edit]

I am pretty sure that the Echovald Forest is meant to be explorable by players other than West and Medina, too. :P 37.201.199.87 04:35, 21 July 2021 (UTC)

Missing Willbender artwork[edit]

Only the first, non polished one currently, there is a second, with an aura behind it: https://twitter.com/GuildWars2/status/1426936824744742912/photo/1 The preceding unsigned comment was added by 88.163.127.2 (talk) at 08:10, 28 August 2021 (UTC).

We have File:Willbender concept art.jpg already in the gallery? Not sure what you're looking for as that's been there since the 12th Dak393 (talk) 08:17, 28 August 2021 (UTC)

Sixth* elite... The preceding unsigned comment was added by 77.198.213.162‎ (talk) at 00:58, 10 September 2021 (UTC).

Took me a second to realize what you meant. I'll be fixing that right now, thanks! - Doodleplex 01:02, 11 September 2021 (UTC)

eod spec mechanist[edit]

thanks to massively op, i think it can be precised: main hand mace - signets - command skills eventually having a mech that is influenced by spec traits?

Reveal date for Release[edit]

Just been posted in the news section that the reveal date for release is Feb 1, 2022. Should this date be mentioned. Not sure how to word it without confusing wiki readers. The news section has it listed as "On February 1, we’ll reveal the release date for Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons. Follow us on Guild Wars 2 Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for updates." Dbaggins (talk) 22:58, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

Good point, I noted it on the page. (Hope it is not confusing that way). DJemba (talk) 23:29, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
I think this page is sufficient: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Upcoming_changes_and_features Inculpatus cedo (talk) 23:35, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
IMO wiki visitors will likely expect the release date or announcement of the release date to be on this page; at least that where I went to see if the news release info was mentioned and/posted. Dbaggins (talk) 01:16, 25 January 2022 (UTC)

Launch time vs schedule live show[edit]

So on the official GW2 twitter feed they just gave the launch time to be 9 am PST Feb 28, 2022.

Though the live stream is scheduled to be an hour earlier on 8 AM PST with pre show at 7 AM PST.

I am pretty sure most visitors to this page will want to know when the expansion will be pushed down or go live come Feb 28th, 2022.

Should we link or chart a time/date conversion for 9 AM PST to difference time zones?

Dbaggins (talk) 15:51, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

Good point, we have a template that allows us to set a UTC time and it will get converted to the time the visitor is using; so I added that in the paragraph. DJemba (talk) 16:00, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

Pre-purchase emphasis[edit]

I'm sure many remember, but newer/returning players may have forgotten that pre-purchasing for bonus items can only be done directly with anet. I suggest making a small note of that under "Pre-purchasing" ... and also marking the 3 pre-purchase bonus items in the table. --108.221.21.196 11:33, 27 February 2022 (UTC)

EOD Release date, not localised[edit]

the timing for the release was misleading, folks on a vastly different timezone would be on a different day instead.

I noticed that in the source code, the time is added with the wiki template "UTC time" but not for the date, can we apply that for the date too? --It is a cake (talk) 00:57, 28 February 2022 (UTC)

I changed the template to another one that supports the date. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 06:58, 28 February 2022 (UTC)

Several infos[edit]

So here are several infos i found:

Concerning armors set: Antique is obtained from jade vault npc at the extreme west of seitung, throne room of the queen/ Jade tech recipes is from Research Note vendors (Xunlai agents) near jade bot stations.

For backpacks, 4 can be obtained at club canach, for 1000 canach coin, casino canach is a place in the north or arborstone, underground, accessed from the north west where the little wooden house with 2 tengus are outside of the ruined cathedral. The backpacks are the following: Cultivated Cherry Blossom , Petrified Echovald Instrument, Jadeite Fossilized Hippocampus, Jade technician backpack. Those are sold by an npc called "Club Canach Reward Vendor"

About gh decorations, I noted two new decorations; 1- Jade bot workbench, purchasable at xulai agents, the same that sell jade tech armors. 2- Dragon statue, a dragon head stone statue. Nothing else? Concerning weapons, so far just noticed that jade punk recipes are sold again, by those xunlai agents near jade bit stations.

Serpent weapons seems to be possible rewards of events.

Thank you for the info, I am sure it will be useful so we can add the rewards. ~Sime 14:54, 5 March 2022 (UTC)

Getting There[edit]

I'm missing a getting there. Doesn't matter where, just anywhere on any EoD map. But now I remember I can use the Arborstone scroll. But such an info, for ppl who are as forgetful as me, it'd be a nice hint. --Lucy Luft (talk) 06:59, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
