Pressure Plates are typically found in dungeons and minidungeons, and are used in solving puzzles. Standing on them will trigger a mechanism nearby; often, boulders or other bundles can be dropped on them to keep them active. In some of the locations where they appear, multiple pressure plates must be active simultaneously to have an effect.
