Walkthrough[edit]
This event is similar to a guild rush although in many ways it is much easier because there are no enemies, traps do no damage and no flags you have to pass through (aside from the finish line). To participate you have to transform into a dolyak calf near the Sun Adept in Labyrinthine Cliffs and, using the aspect skills, make your way up the Bazaar to the finish line just before the Sky Docks Waypoint. Despite the name, this isn't a race. Your placement does not matter, you get full credit as long as you finish the course. Take your time if you need to, you have ten minutes to complete the course.
- Transform into a dolyak calf.
- To get credit for this event, you need to complete the obstacle course as a dolyak calf.
- When the event begins Trader Owen can be found on one of the lowest levels of the Bazaar right next to the Sun Adept. Talk to him to transform into a dolyak.
- All of your skills will be gone and you will only have access to Search.
- As a dolyak calf you cannot waypoint but you can (and will need to) use the aspect skills.
- Acquire the Light Dash skill by walking over the nearby Sun Crystal and use it to pass through the waterfalls and begin climbing the Bazaar.
- Try to angle your character straight along the bamboo platforms when using Light Dash, if you angle too much to the side you could fall off.
- Once you have passed the waterfalls and are off the first few bamboo walkways, work your way through the cave and up towards the Wind Adept.
- Use the Search skill to identify traps and avoid them. Because they do no damage and only slow you down, you can walk through them without failing the run.
- The smaller red circles are spike traps and will cripple you but do no damage.
- The larger red circles are falling rocks and will knock you down but do no damage.
- Use the Search skill to identify traps and avoid them. Because they do no damage and only slow you down, you can walk through them without failing the run.
- Grab the Wind Crystal near the Wind Adept and use Assisted Leap to jump onto the next platforms and climb higher up the Bazaar. Once you've jumped to the platform with the walkway, use Search to avoid traps and make your way to the Lightning Adept.
- Be careful when making jumps using Assisted Leap when you are crippled. Cripple reduces the distance you can travel and will almost certainly cause your jump to fail.
- Grab the Lightning Crystal near the Lightning Adept to obtain the skill Lightning Pull.
- This is where the race differs from normally climbing the Bazaar because now you will notice gusts of wind that blow across the gap you would normally freely jump over with Lightning Pull.
- If you try using the skill when the wind blows you will be knocked down. If you're lucky, safety nets will catch you and you can simply walk a few feet back up and try again.
- Wait for the gust of wind to disappear and then use Lightning Pull to jump across.
- Once you've climbed all the platforms using Lightning Pull simply walk towards the finish line. There are some traps on the way but they don't do damage.
- This is where the race differs from normally climbing the Bazaar because now you will notice gusts of wind that blow across the gap you would normally freely jump over with Lightning Pull.
- Obtain your reward.
- The event reward is only given to players who reach the finish line (while transformed as a dolyak calf) at least once, and who are still on the map when the event timer runs out. Stay on the map until the end of the event to receive your reward.
- In addition to event credit, players will receive a bonus chest containing Festival Tokens and a rare chance at a Favor of the Bazaar.
- All players receive the same reward. The more dolyak calves that cross the finish line, the better the reward everyone will receive. Work together with everyone else to ensure the best reward.
- If there are few players on your map, consider guesting to another server to access a more active map. Even with megaservers guesting can help you to find more populated or active maps.
- You can complete this event as many times as you want, there is no daily limit but you can only race once per event.
- The event UI will display the current number of dolyak calves that have finished the race and how many more that are required to unlock the next tier of rewards.
- Bronze: 5
- Silver: 30
- Gold: 60

Dialogue[edit]
- Event start
- Trader Owens: Here we are again, Girl! We did so well last time, we don't even need to rush goods up the cliff anymore!
- Trader Owens: Since we're not working quite so hard, I say we enjoy ourselves. Sounds good, right? You bet it does!
- Trader Owens: I've got a special tonic ready that lets people do things your way. They're going to love it, and so will you!
- Event success
- Trader Owens: Excellent! What do you think, Girl? I say that was an amazing race!
- Trader Owens: I knew you'd love it. It's like a family reunion for you. My Girl has lots of company now...though you're still the cutest.
- Trader Owens: Want to see it again? Of course you do! We'll come back in a bit. For now, I need to head over to the docks.
Notes[edit]
- When the character crosses the finish line, the Rush of Victory effect is given.
