Walkthrough[edit]

Along with dealing with Champion V.O.X., the players must fend off the D.O.X. as they can heal V.O.X. as well as activate Rata Novus Ballistic Turrets. If the D.O.X. are destroyed before reaching any of the consoles, the fight is significantly easier. Be mindful of the mini relay golems summoned by V.O.X. as their detonation can cause high amounts of damage.

Dialogue[edit]

Upon event start
Agent Zildi: By order of your High Councilor, I command you to stop. Uh...stop, please? I said stop!
Agent Zildi: Uh... Looks like that golem was not impacted by the new protocols. It's hostile! Do something!
When the D.O.X. appear
D.O.X.: Protocol—received. Preparing—console—for—manual—override. Initiating—repair—and—turret—protocols.
Agent Zildi: That sentry will never go down if you keep letting golems reach the consoles! Not to mention those wretched turrets. Get rid of them!
Agent Zildi: What the—? They're rerouting energy to the golem's autorepair system, and littering my console room with turrets. Keep them off the consoles!
Agent Zildi: Keep those ancient piles of junk away from the consoles. They're activating hostile defenses and repairing the sentry. Intolerable!
Upon completion
Agent Zildi: That seems to have done the trick. The city defenses are now 99.9 percent less likely to kill you!
Agent Zildi: Assuming the system doesn't reboot, we shouldn't have any more issues.
Agent Zildi: What are the chances of a centuries-old computer crashing?
Agent Zildi: On second thought, don't tell me.
Agent Zildi: Excelsior! The defensive controls are here, just as I anticipated.
Agent Zildi: Ooh, and the power flowing to them is riling the chak up—in a good way.
Agent Zildi: Once the cannons are fully charged, I'm going to introduce Mordremoth to our good friends, the chak.
Agent Zildi: Time to add some vegetable matter to the chak diet.
