Interactive map

Innkeeper Aela is a merchant in the Postern Ward area of Lion's Arch. Players could also turn in Crude Drawings from the Molten Facility dungeon to receive a Jug of Liquid Karma. She survived the attack on Lion's Arch and could be found in the camp in Bouldermouth Vale, although she did not sell anything there, before eventually returning to Lion's Arch.

In present-day Lion's Arch, she can be found adjacent to the Eastern Ward Waypoint.

Dialogue[edit]

Welcome to the Lion's Shadow...Bed and Breakfast. I'm still in the middle of renovations, but we have some product for sale.
Talk merchant tango.png Let me see what you have to offer.
Talk more option tango.png Didn't you used to run an inn?
I did, but I got an offer I couldn't refuse. I hear there are some important neighbors moving in over there. They've leveled my old inn.
Talk more option tango.png How did you come by this place?
By hook or by crook. The city was auctioning it off. I made sure I won the lot, moved in, and started a slightly...different operation.
Talk end option tango.png Good luck.
Talk merchant tango.png Enough talk. I'll take you up on that earlier offer of refreshments.
Talk end option tango.png I have to go.
Talk more option tango.png You seem like a well-traveled innkeeper.
I've seen many wordly wonders. I used to be a scholar at the Durmand Priory, but I left to start up this inn and settle down.
Talk more option tango.png Know anything about Lion's Arch?
Its history is the reason I moved here. This area was flooded when Orr rose from the sea, which is why pirates, with their hardy ships, inhabited the ruins.
Talk more option tango.png Seems the pirates are still here.
Lion's Arch is one of the top trading ports in Tyria. This city attracts people from all cultures, backgrounds, and affiliations. Perfect for me.
Talk end option tango.png You've done well here. Keep it up!
Talk end option tango.png Interesting. Thanks for the information.
Talk end option tango.png It's a fine place. See you.
(If the player has obtained the Crude Drawing)
Talk more option tango.png I found this in a Molten facility. I think you should have it.
But this was... oh Spirits, no. This belong to someone I loved more than life in my youth. If you've found it, then... I see. Thank you for returning it to me. (gives the player a Swig of Liquid Karma)
Talk end option tango.png No problem.
(If the player has already turned in the Crude Drawing)
Talk more option tango.png How are things?
Better. I'll always carry this loss with me, but that doesn't mean my life has to stop. Thank you again for your kindness.
Talk end option tango.png Anytime.
Talk end option tango.png I'm just looking around.
In the Memory of Old Lion's Arch
Welcome to the Lion's Shadow. Pull up a stool, and I'll pour you a tall mug.
Talk merchant tango.png Sounds like a plan.
Talk more option tango.png How about a story to accompany my drink?
It just so happens that I have a riveting tale for you — the tale of how I founded this inn!
Talk more option tango.png And how's that riveting?
All right, riveting might now be the right word. It's a simple story: hunter wants adventure, hunter finds adventure, hunter misses ale, hunter settles down and opens inn.
Talk more option tango.png Sorry, I fell asleep. What was that?
I get it, I get it, I'll leave you to your drink in peace. Enjoy your stay.
Talk end option tango.png Thanks, I will.
Talk end option tango.png I'll take my drink to go, please.
Talk end option tango.png I'll pass.

Makes sense, since Lion's Arch is one of the top trading ports in Tyria. Despite its crime, this city attracts people from all cultures and backgrounds. Perfect for my inn.
