Guild Wars 2 Wiki:Requests for widget editor rights

From Guild Wars 2 Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to search

Embedded scripts and stylesheets can be found within the Widget namespace of this wiki. Because of the potential high impact effects of accidentally breaking high-traffic widgets, the namespace is locked by default. Widget editors are users that are granted access to edit articles within the Widget namespace. This page is to request editing access to that namespace for yourself.

To request editing access, make sure you have registered an account on this wiki and are logged in. Then add the following to the top of the list below, replacing the indicated parts:

; {{user|<username>}}
: <Reason you are requesting access> ~~~~

It is more likely you will be granted access if you have previously shown your editing capabilities by contributing to other parts of the wiki.

I would like to add Sigil of Impact to Widget:Damage calculator. Life Infusion «T» 03:10, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
Granted. I've included extended editor rights to make things easier. Greener (talk) 12:03, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
Thanks Greener! Life Infusion «T» 14:37, 15 April 2020 (UTC)

I would like to fix the Widget:Daily achievements to display the little coloured corners again because i really liked them. I would do that using the earliest schema version that provides the requiered product conditions again (?v=2019-05-16T00:00:00.000Z). I would already have a purple corner ready for upload for Path of Fire requiering dailies too (would as such only need to be protect like the others are then). Just fyi I've given the b'crats a prod to show them that this page now exists. fwiw, i had no idea the api had been fixed for those flags - just demonstrates why it would be great to have more editors for widgets. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 00:14, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
Granted. Sorry for the delay, this page is now on my watchlist. Greener (talk) 05:22, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
Thanks. And no need to excuse. You don't have to like respond within five seconds after a request; and the two days, five hours and 23 minutes (as per the timestamps) it ended up taking are still perfectly fine by me. I appreciate your two's efforts that made for this fast response. Nightsky (talk) 19:25, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
