- Sim: We need her, and she's trying to help. If what she says is true, if they complete that ritual...

- I don't suppose you've got any kind of medical training? This woman's been poisoned.
- I'll do what I can to help.
- Afraid not. What's wrong with your friend?
- She's not my friend. Not anymore, anyway. But she was trying to help. Some hardcore Speakers are trying a ritual she says'll give them power to kill a lot of people. We need her alive to stop it.
- Any idea how we can help her?
- We're pretty sure that residue from the mushrooms that grow nearby could be used as an antidote, but we'll need to gather it quickly. She's worsening every second.
- What poisoned her?
- Her own compatriots. She's a member of the Speakers gang, but an extreme faction within their ranks broke off to do something particularly heinous.
- What ritual?
- We don't know exactly. Only that it will give them the power to kill anyone they deem an "enemy of the forest."

- Verasha grew up in the same village as Ping and I... It's why she reached out to us. But she left to join the Speakers.

- Sim: Gods! They're trying to finish her off!

- We'd take any fungal residue you find. There should be plenty on the mushrooms.

- Sim: Okay, that's about half what we need.
- Sim: That should do it. Let me just mix this quickly...
- Voice of Igne Mossheart: Ebb...and flow...
- When Verasha's health gets dangerously low
- Sim: She's convulsing! Please, hurry!

- Verasha: Did you have to sit directly on my head?
- Sim: One of your old compatriots shot you with a poison dart before we could kill them.
- Verasha: Probably Alba. That she-devil never did like me.
- Verasha: Well, my legs seem to work well enough. Let's go.

- Sim: Gone. Yes. (sighs) Verasha, you went astray, but you didn't deserve to go like this...
Notes[edit]
- This event alternates with and will not start if Protect the ritualists while they repair the shrines is active.
- To know if your instance is bugged you can look for 3 Mossheart Ritualists. They can be found south of Arianna's Perch. See here to know exactly where they are. If they are there, your instance should be working correctly.
- Verasha will initially move east from Kropa Village's Waypoint accompanied by Sim and Ping. You'll be able to interact with Verasha once she gets closer to the two Ritualists Alina and Solon nearby.
