Elder Fen is the leader of the Altrumm Mines settlement.

- Welcome to Altrumm Mines, outsider. Not a whole lot to see here.
What do you all do here?
- We make decent enough living mining amber. It's not as in demand as jade, but since we're the only people who bother, anyone who wants it goes through us.
- Amber mining?
- Yeah. Amber came from these trees and got petrified right along with em'[sic] when the Jade Wind hit. Got a special kinda magical resonance or something.
- What do you do with the amber?
- Sell it, mostly. Sometimes, if we come across a real choice piece, or we've got some extras, we keep 'em, see what we can make with 'em.

- Name's Fen. I'm kind of in charge around here, though we're a bit small to have an official mayor or anything. But someone's gotta make final calls and give guidance, so I do that.
