Dwarven Headstones mark the final resting place of several dwarves and humans who lived around the Granite Citadel 250 years ago. Each one has a Priory Scholar nearby. Their writings are faded but involve simple riddles about what the person did while alive.

- The researcher says that the dwarves didn't want their possessions falling into enemy hands, so they enchanted their graves. Randomly reading the headstones is dangerous.

Notes[edit]
- Picking the rune that accurately describes the NPC's profession will grant the player progress towards the heart and 30 seconds of Protection.
- Choosing the wrong rune will grant slightly less progress and cause one of the following:
- Spawn two imps that you must defeat.
- Afflict the player with 30 seconds of poisoned.
- The Priory Scholar standing next to the headstone will cheer for the player if choosing the correct rune, or laugh at the player if choosing the wrong one.
