Dialogue[edit]
In Bori Ward[edit]
- Before event
- Repair Chief Kija: Got a long list of places to hit today.
- Repair Chief Kija: I've fixed that junction... Only Lyssa knows how many times this week.
- Speaking with Repair Chief Kija
- Jade tech around the district is on the fritz. Got some spare time to escort me and the crew on a repair run? City's wild today. It'd feel a lot safer with a couple extra bodies.
- Sure thing.
- Sorry, gotta run. Best of luck, though.
- If you decline Repair Chief Kija's request
- Repair Chief Mozu: No worries, it's not like we don't do this every day.
- Event starts
- Repair Chief Kija: Appreciate it. It's a hard, long day, but someone needs to keep this scrapyard of a city oiled up.
- Repair Chief Kija: Your job is pretty easy: follow along and take down any Kappa or Brotherhood that get a little...smart.
- Repair Chief Kija: The crew will do the rest. Got a lot of repair jobs to hit.
- First location
- Repair Chief Kija: First stop. We're on a schedule, so get it done.
- When a wave of attackers appears
- Repair Chief Kija: Like clockwork.
- Repair Chief Kija: Hey, I don't like people prolonging my work day. Back off.
- Specifically only when a wave of Kappa appears
- Repair Chief Kija: What I tell you? The local wildlife loves interrupting our work.
- When Jade Brotherhood spawn
- One of the following:
- Jade Brotherhood <type> A rich lady and her saps can't protect Kaineng—they won't! Take a seat and watch it fall apart.
- Jade Brotherhood <type> Bad time to be on the wrong side of the fight.
- Jade Brotherhood <type>: Oh, I just can't wait to power up my new augment with this bad boy.
- Jade Brotherhood <type>: Stealing? No, this is scrap metal The things we can turn it into though...
- Jade Brotherhood <type> Trust me, the Brotherhood's gonna put this to much better use than Xunlai Jade.
- Jade Brotherhood <type>: What do you need this for, huh? Got a room to light up?
- Finishing first repairs
- Repair Chief Kija: Good, clean work. We can move to the next location.
- Second location
- Repair Chief Kija: If we get through this job fast, I'll give you the rest of the day off.
- Finishing second repairs
- Repair Chief Kija: I would've liked to see a little more shine, but...eh, it works. It's not like we won't be back.
- Repair Chief Kija: There's another team down south—run by a tech named Mozu. Real uptight. Runs their route like a training program.
- Repair Chief Kija: I just want to keep things in working order. Ten years pass and all this tech'll be replaced by whatever comes next.
- Third location
- Repair Chief Kija: Halfway done, halfway to gettin' home to my kids.
- Finishing third repairs
- Repair Chief Kija: One more job to hit. Let's go.
- Repair Chief Kija: Kaineng's filled with a bunch of fancy tech, but it still takes a ragtag group of boots on the ground to keep it working.
- Repair Chief Kija: I think about that sometimes.
- Fourth location
- Repair Chief Kija: Looks like someone botched the last job, so it might take a couple extra screws.
- Event success
- Repair Chief Kija: Done, and...beautiful. Real good work.
- Repair Chief Kija: Good work, crew. Anyone down for Bora's? I've got a date with a piping-hot bowl of Seitung noodles.
In Cobble Ward[edit]
- Before event
- Repair Chief Mozu: No one has any respect for the tech in this town.
- Repair Chief Mozu: On your feet. We're heading out soon.
- Speaking with Repair Chief Mozu
- Jade tech around the district is on the fritz. Got some spare time to escort me 'n the crew on a repair run? City's wild today. It'd feel a lot safer with a couple extra bodies.
- Sure thing.
- Sorry, gotta run. Best of luck, though.
- If you decline Repair Chief Mozu's request
- Repair Chief Mozu: You'd just slow us down, anyway.
- Event start
- Repair Chief Mozu: Tagging along? Good, but don't slow us down. I'm running a tight shift here.
- Repair Chief Mozu: Got four locations to hit. We go in, repair the power reserve, move on to the next.
- Repair Chief Mozu: Your job is to keep any person or kappa from getting...wise. Jade draws common criminal and creature alike.
- First location
- Repair Chief Mozu: Crew. You know the drill.
- When a wave of attackers appears
- One of the following:
- Repair Chief Mozu: Fall into formation. Don't let them interrupt the process!
- Repair Chief Mozu: Quickly and efficiently.
- Repair Chief Mozu: Stay alert!
- Repair Chief Mozu: We're on a tight schedule!
- Repair Chief Mozu: Good work, but it could be better. I expect a more thorough performance at the next location.
- Second location
- Repair Chief Mozu: Go, go, go!
- Finishing second repairs
- Repair Chief Mozu: Better. I'm pleased with these results. We're already halfway done, too.
- Repair Chief Mozu: Crew thinks I'm strict, but I'm just trying to do good by Xunlai.
- Repair Chief Mozu: Family moved up from Echovald a few years back—pushed out by the Brotherhood.
- Repair Chief Mozu: Folks in the city don't appreciate what they've got. Someone has to clean up this town.
- Third location
- Repair Chief Mozu: Get fixing. We'll cover you.
- Finishing third repairs
- Repair Chief Mozu: Let's move it. One more spot to hit on our roster.
- Repair Chief Mozu: Yu Joon interviewed me herself. It was all a complete accident, but I like that woman.
- Repair Chief Mozu: Sardonic. But in a good way.
- Fourth location
- Repair Chief Mozu: Last fix. Let's get it done.
- Event success
- Repair Chief Mozu: Beautiful workmanship. You can take an hour back for yourselves. We'll reconvene soon.
- Repair Chief Mozu: I'll call that a successfull route. We usualyy run into a lot more trouble.
- Repair Chief Mozu: You hungry? I could use a plate of roasted carrot and Echovald-herbed dumplings myself.
