Bronze 13,335 Experience.png 189 Karma 44 Copper coin
These are the expected rewards for a level 80 player.

Getting there[edit]

To get to First Spear Kitur to start the event, firstly head southeast from the waypoint, cross the bridge and enter the Academy. Climb the stairs behind the bounty boards, up to the Headmaster's Office. Finally follow the passage northeast behind the bookcase to get into the Warehouse. To start the event, talk to First Spear Kitur who is in a prison cell at the far northern end of the western path.

Walkthrough[edit]

Kitur will wander around and have to find seven items that include his armor and sword. He will have a speech after getting each piece making this a long event to have to repeat.

Keep track of Kitur during the event to make sure he does not die. The groups of mobs should not be difficult to kill by yourself. After collecting all seven pieces, there will be a Veteran end boss at the end of a long hallway. The wave attacks that this veteran throws at you have to be jumped over in rapid succession. Being hit a wave will knock your character back and prevent them from jumping before the next wave hits, effectively stun-locking your character until either dying or being fully pushed back out of the hallway. These look very similar to The Deadly Stairs waves from the Uncategorized Fractal. However, these can't be reflected nor projectile destroyed. Block, aegis, stability, evade, a stun break will work. Blinks may also be helpful.

Dialogue[edit]

Event start
First Spear Kitur: (coughs) Ahai, friend. You have no idea how long I've been trapped in this Dhuum-pit. And neither do I.
First Spear Kitur: My, ah, gracious hosts—they took my gear when I was captured. Nice of them to hold it for me. I'm going to want it back.
First Spear Kitur: I'm a tad weak at the moment, but bear with me. I'll come around. This will have to do for the time being.
First Spear Kitur: Studying the layout here kept me occupied; helped me maintain my sanity. I have a good idea where my equipment is held.
First Spear Kitur: Also I can smell it. And occasionally hear it. Let's go. We should get to stab a few Awakened on the way.
Upon finding his leggings
First Spear Kitur: Still in fine shape, my leggings. A bit loose now, but certainly ready to help me trample a few Branded corpses, eh?
First Spear Kitur: The rest is this way. I'm excited to be reunited with my old friends. My enemies will not be gladdened, I suspect.
First Spear Kitur: I was escorting a group of refugees north of the Desolation when they captured me.
First Spear Kitur: I distracted the Crescent squad while the refugees scattered. I hope they escaped. Most of the Crescent didn't. Heh.
First Spear Kitur: Second Spear Nayrim should have been waiting for the refugees to escort them to safety.
Upon finding his boots
First Spear Kitur: Here, my boots. A bit scuffed, but still formidable. I think there's a metaphor in there somewhere. Ow, and a rock.
First Spear Kitur: Throwing those Crescent dogs off my trail won't be easy. They hunt us relentlessly.
First Spear Kitur: In a way, I welcome it. They'll pay a high price if they catch me. We Sunspears are now few, but our will is unshakable.
First Spear Kitur: Elona and its people can still be saved. We will never abandon them.
Upon finding his gloves
First Spear Kitur: My favorite pair of gloves. These were a gift, you know. Lady Diyah Ironsi slapped me in the face with the left one.
First Spear Kitur: Then she gave me the pair. I can feel the lovely sting like it was yesterday. In any event, let's move on, shall we?
First Spear Kitur: I will admit to questioning the vast majority of my life decisions once the corruption made its way here.
First Spear Kitur: But I was hasty. It's been a helpful diversion—chaos can be quite advantageous.
Upon finding his pauldrons
First Spear Kitur: My trusty pauldrons. See this dent here, from a corsair's big, dumb hammer? I put a similar big dent in his dumb face.
Upon finding his coat
First Spear Kitur: And my coat. Saved me countless times. Still smells like me, sadly. But that just enhances its defensive properties.
First Spear Kitur: We've almost recovered all of my gear—I'm feeling alive again. That's going to make my soon-to-be-dead enemies jealous, no?
Upon finding his helm
First Spear Kitur: My helm! If not for this ugly pot, I'd have lost my crooked nose half a dozen times. And that doesn't count battles.
First Spear Kitur: That just leaves Rashee. Beloved Rashee...we're on our way!
Upon finding Rashee
First Spear Kitur: Hmm, Rashee, my beautiful blade. Still stained with the blood of...somebody...some bodies. Let's add to it, shall we?
Reaching the trapped corridor
First Spear Kitur: Forward! They think they can stop us. Pah!
Event success
First Spear Kitur: I cannot wait to feel the sizzle of the sun on my scars.
First Spear Kitur: I need to go alone from here. Know that your assistance has been vital to the future of Elona. And vital to my vitality.
First Spear Kitur: I am in your debt. Rest well knowing that the Mordant Crescent will be very, very angry with you.
First Spear Kitur: Think of me every time you plunge your weapon into the guts of a Mordant Crescent, eh? Good fortune, friends.
