Hey, do you have a source for the Meteor skill you added? --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 21:33, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

yes, we demand some sauce! --Moto Saxon 21:37, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

At what point in that video? --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 21:49, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
I saw it at 2:23, it's really a brief moment, but can be read. 21:51, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
Well, I even tried to watch it partwise, but I couldn't read it. -- Cyan User Cyan Light sig.jpg 22:41, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
It is there indeed. It's a tier 4 skill even, 67 mp (for the player there), 45 recharge, damage 247, burning 3seconds of -1425 health, cripple 3 seconds of -50% Ge4ce-Talk-Contribs 10:39, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Thorn Mastiff --> Fern Mastiff[edit]

They are two different animal companions.-- Shew 19:57, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

You're sure? Fern Mastiff apears to be one of the 3 sylvari pet choices. Adrian R 20:18, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Hmmm, well Regina said there was a Thorn Mastiff here.-- Shew 20:20, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Ferns do not have thorns in terms of plants, so I can see them both exist as variations of the Mastiff breed. - Infinite - talk 20:28, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
(edit conflict)Same trickyness as with Aura of Restoration and Signet of Restoration: it's hard to tell whether a game feature spotted in demo that is very similar to something mentioned in an interview is the same thing renamed or two different things. Adrian R 20:30, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Still if you had checked the Talk page we already had a discussion resolved about this subject...--Mark, User talk:Markisbeest het Beest 05:36, 25 August 2011 (UTC)

Path of scars & Staggering throw[edit]

Aren't these two different skills? One's in main hand axe and the other is in offhand axe...? --Xu Davella 14:08, 27 August 2011 (UTC)

Yes. Staggering throw went missing a demo build ago though, and axe icons were shuffled around (ricochet got path of scars' icon, the new winter's bite got ricochet's icon, path of scars got staggering throw's icon, from the looks of it). Adrian R 14:30, 27 August 2011 (UTC)

The duration of conditions applied by skills[edit]

Hi there!

While I appreciate your efforts to furnish the wiki with up-to-date knowledge, please try to remember there are different tiers of each skill. If a skill applies conditions, then the durations will almost certainly change from one tier to another. So, while such information is interesting and has a place - on the talk page - it is not yet at a place where we can add it to articles.

I hope you understand, and if you don't, I'd be happy to answer any of your questions. Cheers, User A F K When Needed Signature Icon.png A F K When Needed 09:05, 12 November 2011 (UTC)

There are still skill tiers in the game, and you've seen duration changes between them? (question asked in curiosity, so don't feel compelled to answer) Since the skill tiers are gone from the tool tips, I figured they were gone from the game, plus I don't see why durations (rather than just damage numbers) would differ between them. Mesmer Slash and Explode[edit]

I'd just like to please see the source for the Mesmer's sword Slash skill and pistol Explode skill. Yeah, with both Leaps, it's obvious that the unrevealed sword skill has to be some sort of basic attack, but where'd you get that exact name? Same for the Explode skill. Keep up the good work! --Messenger 17:39, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

It's from and in the screenshot legends. Cheers! Adrian R 18:57, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

aquatic skills[edit]

I started a discussion about this here. I really don't think splitting the whole page by terrestrial/aquatic is the way to go. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 00:32, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Lacerating Slash[edit]

Hey, I was wondering if you can help me out. From what I can gather, the 02-22-2017 update split Lacerating Slash into two identical versions (one for eagle, one for hawk) (one ID 12722 / [&BrIxAAA=], one ID 20975 / [&Bu9RAAA=]). The problem is, I can't figure out which pet uses which skill because we can't ping Ranger pet skills from in-game. Considering how you were able to split the Forage skills into their appropriate pets, I was wondering if there's anything you can do to help? Thanks in advance! --Imry (talk) 06:49, 23 June 2017 (UTC)

Update: I got the answer off Darqam. Sorry for bugging you, and thanks for your time ^^ --Imry (talk) 08:08, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
