The Torch of Divine Fire is a bundle imbued with the power of the gods. It is created in a ritual which mimics the ancient process of Ascension, whereby champions would be granted the favor of the gods and possibly receive a measure of their power. Ogden Stonehealer warns that touching the torch could possibly be fatal.
