Parentheses[edit]

Why does this page have parentheses when there's no Token Collector page? --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 06:29, 12 May 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, those shouldn't be there. Feel free to move the page. —Ventriloquist 07:35, 12 May 2017 (UTC)

Difficult and annoying at times![edit]

I have a love/hate relationship with JPs, but I do find some of these tokens ridiculously difficult, such as 32, 33, some of the JP ones, etc.. I suppose it's hard for them to make them difficult to find due to internet help guides that inevitably pop up (which can be extremely helpful), so they've gone with the difficult jumps, glides, etc.. I'd rather the tokens just randomly spawned but weren't such a pig to get to, especially for some of us more 'jumpingly-challenged' creatures, but then they might spawn in the middle of a volcano or something... No, wait... :o ~Lya The preceding unsigned comment was added by 79.68.197.230 (talk) at 10:36, 3 October 2017‎ (UTC).

If you're in Mursaat armour and are wondering why all the WPs are always contested and therefore feeling stuck, jump down the little hole in the corner under the shelf you just missed, again (33) :o and swim North: jump out and walk a little further NE till the 'mursaat power subsides', then you can WP and do it all over again, and again... and again... :P
At 32 you can land one one of the higher shelves and very carefully drop down to the level you want: you should then be able to hop/fly round to where the token is. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 79.68.197.230 (talk) at 10:46, 6 October 2017‎ (UTC).
Finally managed 33. Stopped jumping from higher purple shelf and chose bottom one: more direct line, less turning and trying to hit the roof, and got it first time I tried that method! The preceding unsigned comment was added by 79.68.197.230 (talk) at 10:56, 6 October 2017‎ (UTC).

Should I correct this?[edit]

For #29, it says "between checkpoints 1 and 2". That isn't true. The first checkpoint is in the tunnel when you first glide down into the lava river. The one at the base of the rock spike is the second checkpoint, and the token is between that one and the next. So the correct thing is "between checkpoints 2 and 3" The preceding unsigned comment was added by Farbas (talk) at 15:03, 7 August 2018‎ (UTC).

If you believe you've found an error, please feel free to update the page; that's how the wiki grows ; ). G R E E N E R 17:01, 7 August 2018 (UTC)

#6[edit]

That #6 is pure sadism. I can't get to it, tried like 4-5 times by myself and following Dulfy's guide. Not happening :/ (Tbf she almost fell in the video too.) I guess I can try again when I have a griffon or something. -- kazerniel (talk) 21:43, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

Your first mistake is using dulfy's guides. Markus Clouser User Markus Clouser signature img.jpg 14:04, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

Pictures[edit]

Hello, where can I put these? Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeth (talk) 00:52, 15 October 2020 (UTC)

Token Collector Infernal Cape: On the eastern side of the volcano
I think we could name the pictures "Token Collector 1 map.jpg" etc. I'm going to move your file as "tc1" is a bit vague. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:10, 15 October 2020 (UTC)

Cardinal directions[edit]

Why can't you people use proper cardinal directions? For #2 and #3 I have absolutely no idea not only where to look for (which part is the "EXIT" is it when you leave the cahmber, or the grotto? If the first, then why the hell is the camp POI given, and not the grotto, if the other - why so you write chamber, if you mean grotto exit). And then: from the exit go straight and left... FFS, WHICH DIRECTION AM I LOOKING AT? Really, I appreciate the work people do on the wiki, but some people just should not be writing this particular type of stuff. Feel free to improve the walkthrough as you go. #2 and #3 are found heading inside from the north ground level entrance (heading south). —Kvothe (talk) 15:52, 21 January 2021 (UTC)

#4[edit]

From which side? It does not state if from the inside or outside. The map and the screenshot are not sufficient in the current state. Markus Clouser User Markus Clouser signature img.jpg 13:54, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

I don't have time to edit and upload so I'm leaving this for who has the time [[File:Token_Collector_4.jpg|thumb|4: Use higher resolution images and full FoV. Screenshot taken at 3440x1440 at max FoV. ]] Markus Clouser User Markus Clouser signature img.jpg 14:00, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
You had time to upload a file so you could have just uploaded your file straight to File:Token Collector 4 map.jpg. I've history merged the two files (cache bug will mean the image days 24 hrs to update), I've also cut the world map snippet out of the previous image and pasted onto yours. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 14:12, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

4th Token

The 4th token location on the wiki page is identical to the 10th. The real location is on the ground floor of the Furnace Chamber, inside a small cavern whose entrance is on the southwest part of the chamber.

Based on the comment above I'd modified the description to match the new image. Self reverted.. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 17:15, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

Image for Token #23[edit]

Chalice of Tears #23 in Spoor Titanum has a photo but the image is useless because there is no global location (such as a minimap) nor cardinal direction orientation shown. In addition, it is lacking distinct feature with which to reference the position and has no altitude information.

If you have a better image, either create an account and upload it, or provide a link to an external image host of it. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 21:26, 26 February 2023 (UTC)
While retaking the image with the minimap showing would have been possible, i figured an image showing where the entrance is from along the path of the jumpig puzzle (In this case from before the final long glide, as mentioned in the text.) might help more (If that's not the case, please do let me know.), so i added one instead. As for showing (a) distinct feature(s), it's difficult to do so for token 23, as well as 24, since they're both down inside of a cavern, with walls all around.
