Does anyone know if anyone's started a stat analysis to see when the boxes of weapons/armor you can buy start to become worthwhile? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.28.187.208 (talk).

The ascended stuff? GW2 Effeciency has a good crafting calculator that can add up all the cost of the materials. E.g. right now Zojja's Blade would cost about 70g to buy all the materials and craft. If you didn't want to wait to craft the daily ascended materials and bought them instantly, it would cost 88g instead. Buying Zojja's Weapon Chest from this guy to get the sword would cost 60g plus about 64g worth of Stabilizing Matrices which seems very far away from being worthwhile. —Azurem 14:02, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

Ascended armor wiki pages[edit]

What do we want to call them? Currently thinking pages like "Illustrious Epaulets (item)". -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 00:17, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

What about "Ascended Shiny (Vendor)" so that way it's more clear where it came from? - Doodleplex 00:20, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
As in "Ascended Shiny (vendor)" (lowercase) or "Ascended Shiny (BLING-9009)" (specify vendor name in brackets) -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 00:35, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
Hmm, well I like "vendor" just so in case it happens again, that could be the format we use, but I don't mind the NPC's name being the thing in parentheses. So either or works for me. - Doodleplex 00:39, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

On second thoughts, won't that look like we've found a vendor NPC called "Illustrious Doublet"? --Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 00:48, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
Good point, go with Blingg. - Doodleplex 01:18, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
I vote for Blingg. —Ventriloquist 10:05, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
I've done the first page. Vendor list doesn't catch it by default (subobjects only --> they're called "Illustrious Greaves (BLING-9009)#item1" instead of the page's name "Illustrious Greaves (BLING-9009)"), though we could use {{vendor list|~*Illustrious Greaves (BLING-9009)*}} - I think it's fine without this template in this case because we list the vendor in IVTR anyway. Any amendments? -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 00:46, 1 March 2017 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I might change "Version details" to just "Details", but otherwise looks fine to me. - Doodleplex 06:15, 1 March 2017 (UTC)

Core and HoT stats[edit]

With PoF release, this vendor no longer has separate tabs for Core stats and HoT stats for weapons or armor. Can anyone confirm if the items it sells have all of the stat combos available? -- Edit, confirmed it myself. Core and HoT stats are now consolidated into a single tab for weapons and armor each. Each piece can select any stat combo.

Unlock requirements for rewards[edit]

I tried to trade blade shards for equipment bags and it says "Unlock: Overcome the challenges in the Nightmare fractal to unlock this item for purchase." I assume this means I need to have completed 98CM at least once, and that similar requirements exists for the items in the Shattered Observatory and Sunqua Peak rewards tabs, but I would like to confirm that before I update the wiki accordingly. --Klooger (talk) 15:29, 12 February 2022 (UTC)

To me this sounds more like completing all achievements in Nightmare Fractal (achievements) and thus getting the meta achievement rather than finishing 98CM. --Tolkyria (talk) 15:47, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
I've already completed all those achievements, so it can't be that. --Klooger (talk) 03:34, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
You need to beat the CM which will unlock a hidden achievement (For 98CM it is "Up to the Challenge") which will then let you buy from BLING-9009. I'll update the page. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 07:21, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
