Feedback 2015/11/24[edit]

I'm just assuming here since I don't think anyone has this item yet, but it'd make sense that Ad Infinitum would have an agony upgrade slot and not an Unused Upgrade Slot. --BlackAnthem (talk) 22:53, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

Agreed, can someone provide a source on the upgrade slot? 76.182.242.161 16:43, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
Iguess it was just copy pasta from legendary weapons~ Tiavor (talk) 11:44, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

Feedback 2015/12/10[edit]

Note: [[Gift of the Fractals]] and Gift of Infinity are not currently available. ? arena net how can we do that without this 2 gift any ide I'm don from T3 back --abo azoz 20:00, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

Many ppl are done with the third tier, but I guess that it has to do with the upcoming fractal patch at the 15th dec. and/or the fractal leaderboard that they already promised us two years ago. ~ Tiavor (talk) 23:17, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
15th dec. patch done....still nothing, really disappointed -.- 95.233.63.248 01:59, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

any update abut Ad Infinitum[edit]

any update abut Gift of the Fractals and Gift of Infinity someone edit page and remove Note : Gift of the Fractals and Gift of Infinity are not currently available . This confusing and disappointing . --77.31.214.133 11:02, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

Infusion slot[edit]

From item link, it's already infused like Bough of Melandru and its base infusion slot is omni. I tried adding that in but it doesn't seem to be showing, unless I did something wrong? Seylan (talk) 11:03, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

Hm, it seems to be an odd case. API says it's NotUpgradable but has two infusion slots: an Agony infusion slot and one that is flagged as both Defensive and Offensive. I've not seen an item with both of those flags for a single slot before. In-game it shows up as having one Agony infusion slot and an upgrade slot, despite being NonUpgradable. So... shrug. Maybe it's intended to have an Omni infusion slot but the game doesn't support it yet? (I don't think any other item has an omni slot; they're all available in two separate versions for offensive and defensive instead.)
In any case, the back item template doesn't support infusion slot = omni so that's why nothing is showing up, and it doesn't support displaying an upgrade slot on ascended/legendary items. Maybe we should just leave this one until it's closer to being in the game. -- Dagger (talk) 12:16, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

Unused Upgrade Slot[edit]

The backpiece has an "Unused Upgrade Slot" and an "Unused Agony Infusion Slot". I don't know how to add the unused upgrade slot though. And why isn't there an Offensive/Defensive Infusion Slot? Anyone know? Hekela (talk) 21:07, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

The "Upgrade" slot appears to function as an Offensive or Defensive Infusion Slot (not sure which, it will accept a Versatile Simple Infusion, at least), looks like a textual/graphical error. 24.126.88.71 19:14, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Okay, makes sense. If someone can add the "Unused Upgrade Slot" to the backpiece to be consistent with ingame, then we can add a {bug} note saying that it's actually an Infusion slot. We'll need to test if it's offensive, defensive, or both too. Hekela (talk) 23:17, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
I just put a Mighty Infusion in the Unused Upgrade Slot, so it definitely accepts Offensive infusions. Hekela (talk) 05:53, 24 April 2016 (UTC)

Effects[edit]

Anybody notice that when your weapon is drawn, ad infinitum bursts with light and glows? I feel like that should be listed on the page. 70.162.33.55 22:08, 21 April 2016 (UTC)

Some pictures: http://imgur.com/a/HHTZr The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.162.33.55 (talk). 22:29, 21 April 2016 (UTC)

Yes, the graphics should be noted on this page, just like the legendary weapons have a Graphics section (see a weapon like Kudzu for reference). Feel free to do so. Hekela (talk) 23:20, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

Available prefixes[edit]

Clearly berserker is an option per this image. I take it it has all the prefixes available (same as) for every legendary weapon? (I would copy the prefix list from somewhere else, but none of our legendary pages list the {{prefix selection}} table :( )-Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 17:34, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

Yes, it has all the same prefixes as legendary weapons. Hekela (talk) 17:46, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

Kelvei[edit]

I noticed, when putting Ad Infinitum on my Asura, that Kelvei's model of Ad Infinitum is different than the one available for Asuran females. Think it should be mentioned?

See pictures: http://imgur.com/a/6Jz3a 70.162.33.55 06:28, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

Your asura does look smaller than Kelvei. And also, Kelvei has that same glow that we get when our weapons are drawn. Can you possibly test with a bigger asura and your weapons drawn? Hekela (talk) 05:56, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
A comment on Reddit mentioned that the back piece grows bigger when in combat. —Ventriloquist 10:17, 24 April 2016 (UTC)

Available prefixes?[edit]

What are they? Do they include the Heart of Thorns stat combos as well as vanilla ones? Could do with a list or note. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 185.24.14.2 (talk) at 14:26, 30 April 2016 (UTC).

They include all prefixes, including HoT stat combos. USSVagrant (talk) 18:06, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
I just crafted it and took screenshots of the prefix list here http://imgur.com/a/8sQ2o The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.253.233.149 (talk) at 20:34, 1 May 2016 (UTC).
Much appreciated. —Ventriloquist 13:49, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

Does it stay account bound?[edit]

Once a character equips it, does Ad Infinitum stay account bound? Or, does it go soulbound like rares and below? Daddicus (talk) 13:30, 4 July 2016 (UTC)

It stays accountbound. This applies to all legendary and ascended items. User Incarnazeus Signature.pngtalk 13:37, 4 July 2016 (UTC)

Images[edit]

I uploaded a human female meta picture of the backpack, I also uploaded a screenshot of the same model/graphics settings/location etc while weapons are drawn (Ad_Infinitum_Drawn.jpg) but I'm not wiki-savvy enough to add it to the page, if someone else could? Foon (talk) 13:48, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

Done, and thank you! By the way, a tip for future images; set the field of view slider to zero for more-zoomed-in shots. Also, this map might help in finding nice, well-lit locations! User Incarnazeus Signature.pngtalk 16:13, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

Collection order[edit]

The collections are not in order I > II > III > Infinitum. Step III is shown first. But I don't know how to change the order. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kzatt (talk).

Changed, thank you for the feedback! —Ventriloquist 10:38, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

Full material list[edit]

Why isn't there a full material list in the article? I see that some legendary weapons have it, some don't, etc. Is there a logic to it or should someone add the list? Onox (talk) 23:22, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

Lore[edit]

It doesn't show on the wiki, likely due to technical limitations, but the s in something, the I in the first I'm, the f in the first floating, the f in Forgotten, and the m in me are underlined in the lore armory. Is this relevant? Do the letters siffm have any sort of anagram or something with meaning? SpaceNerd95251 (talk) 05:18, 30 May 2023 (UTC)

I've edited the page to underline those letters. But it doesn't seem like they are underlined in-game. The line is way below the letter, there's separation as seen here. No idea about any lore significance. Warming Hearth (talk) 21:02, 30 May 2023 (UTC)

If it's not underlining, what is it? And thank you for changing the page SpaceNerd95251 (talk) 06:07, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
