Slay the evil Raven shaman, Vilnia Shadowsong, and her helper is a level 25 event that occurs in Darkhoof Heights. This event is triggered as a player approaches Vilnia Shadowsong.

- Vilnia Shadowsong: Your nightmare and my illusions make great companions, Noxia. It's going to be a good day.
- Vilnia Shadowsong: Prepare the subject with care, dear. I want no repeat of what happened last time.
- Noxia: Gladly, mistress.
- Noxia: Mistress, our subject is nearly ripe enough.
- Noxia: Do you think it will hurt?
- Vilnia Shadowsong: Oh, yes.
- Noxia: (laugh) I can't wait to see what happens.
- Vilnia Shadowsong: I feel you out there, hero. Come on in and see what darkness your mind holds.
- Upon aggro
- Vilnia Shadowsong: Cawww! Enfold them in Nightmare, Noxia!
- Upon reaching 75% health the first time
- Vilnia Shadowsong: Are you aware your pain is an illusion?
- Upon reaching 50% health the first time
- Vilnia Shadowsong: Wrong. And wrong again. (laugh) Oh, your mind is weak and fragile.

- Vilnia Shadowsong: Feel my black ink seep into the river of your thoughts! (laugh)

- Vilnia Shadowsong: Raven, wrap my soul in your dark wings. (gasp)
Notes[edit]
- Soloing this fight can be challenging if unprepared, as Vilnia, a veteran who appears to be a mesmer, will summon 2 veteran phantasms which you will have to go through, together with her helper, Noxia, before finishing the fight with her. If you need to, there is a stone column to the left of the locked gate opposite the entrance, where you can hide to recover your health and cooldowns. Vilnia doesn't seem to follow, nor reset the fight. You could also jump back up the way you came in, to rest or prepare.
- The gate opens after she is defeated, allowing access to the source of power and Raven Shaman's Power Source hero challenge.
- Telling Gryna the Tenacious after the fight that you have slain Vilnia will reveal that Gryna has already "slain" her as well. That is why she chooses to continue to guard the place.
- There is a teleportation point near the power source which takes you outside the cave.
