The Rune Hunter is a human fascinated by the cave in Altar's Windings. She's especially interested in the Veteran Cave Troll inside of it, rumored to be guarding a cache of rare runestones. She becomes a merchant once the cave troll has been defeated or when she receives its runestone.

I've been here for weeks. These caves are brimming with fascinating creatures, but there's one in particular that I'm waiting to see, the cave troll.

What's the big deal?

Rumor has it that this troll guards a cache of rare rune stones. Occasionally, he puts one out to gather ambient magics. I'd give my left arm to study one.
